If your a girl and marry him, he'll tell you something like "I never thought I could be this happy again." Etc. The crib was probably there because he and his wife had planned to have a baby before she died.

So the boat captain is the exact same guy, not even a clone but you'll need to earn his trust and friendship all over again. He must be immortal to live through so many generations. @kairigrl1 Yep you don't have to make her go. What I did was I let her go and then made a new save game file so I could keep playing this game, and start a new one with the child at the same time.

@pokemonmaster123r Just use the fertilizer on the flax seeds that you plant and make sure you keep watering it so it doesn't wilt, and you should get it once the plants are fully grown. Then just take what you harvest to the yarn maker and it will turn it into flax yarn.

@sparkleT19 You can trigger this event after you make the rucksack. To trigger the event where your child talks about the rucksack, all you have to do is have your child be one year old. But to be able to actually make the rucksack, you have to get all the rainbows first, and then take the correct ingredients to the Harvest Goddess for her to make the rucksack.

Hold honey when you walk up to it, and keep walking up to it with the honey, and it will take it. ONLY twice a day though, or it will reject it. You have to do it for about 7-10 days. Don't give it anything else or you might upset it and make it take longer. So the best thing to do is just buy about 14 decent honeys from Brownie Ranch and use them until the bear decides to let you pass.

It starts over just like you have a new game, except you get your mom's money, recipies, and a few other things. but other than that its the same as a regular new game (but with the kid as your main character). but the kid will look just like your character.
