The first fight was clearily a draw, there was nothing that Mayweather did in that fight that suggested that he deserved to win it. It was a decent fight, not a great one and even Mayweather said that it was boring. The rematch may just have come to late for Oscar but Mayweather will still have a tough bout and it'll be intersting to see if he gives Cotto, his most dangerous and devasting challenger, a shot.

Think realistically okay here's what i learn from his past 4 fights...
Vs Diaz- shown ability to move up weight without losing speed.
vs DLH- He can box on his toes,be patient,lateral movements,in and out fight style (and same as above)
vs Hatton-Move up in weight and retain power(same as above)
vs Cotto-Titanium Chin, and shown ability to adjust to boxers that has good jabs,and peddaling backwards.
Pac is in his prime,He is the bruce lee and Ali in one, 7 for 7 Biatch

cotto doesn't move back, he is a flat footed fighter who moved forward in all the opening rounds, he started to move back cuz he was clearly hurt. Pac is in his prime but I just dont see him beating mayweather. He never fought a back up boxer like mayweather. If he fought malignaggi and completely destroyed him it would be another story then. The first fight was clearily a draw, there was nothing that Mayweather did in that fight that suggested that he deserved to win it. It was a decent fight, not a great one and even Mayweather said that it was boring. The rematch may just have come to late for Oscar but Mayweather will still have a tough bout and it'll be intersting to see if he gives Cotto, his most dangerous and devasting challenger, a shot.

DLH lost that fight, but if you watched the fight it is pretty clear that if DLH was in his prime he would definitely beat mayweather. It was a close fight and DLH is way, way out of his prime. The DLH that boxed and was up on his toes with that great speed and combination accuracy in his prime would take out eat mayweather. DLH in his prime was a great boxer. He is not even the same fighter anymore and fights completely different.

actually, its hard to imagine either fighter, cotto or hatton beating mayweather. you call them pressure fighters, but handspeed alone is enough to counter pressure fighters. now add to that defense, ring smarts and elusiveness, and the pressure gets zapped out of those "pressure" fighters.

I have one question for anyone who thinks DHL won the fight. I would like you guys to explain the logic for thinking he beat Floyd. Lets be real here. The fight was close. VERY close. De La Hoya was the aggressor but he hardly landed. Mayweather didnt throw much, but he connected on a majority of what he did throw thus giving him a higher punch percentage. He also landed more power shots which scores more. He could have dominated de la hoya had he pressed the fight, but he played it smart and walked away with a split instead of the unanimous.

missing punches doesnt give Floyd points, Oscar still landed more in many rounds...not that its amateur boxing and that matters anyway...many fights go to the man who landed less. If it was just "hit or dont get hit", the fight would be decided by punch counters and not judges who rarely take that into account.

Oscar DID win three, maybe four rounds. But a fight is 12 rounds and Compubox AND the eyes of millions saw PBF LAND far more than DLH did. Mayweather took advantage of De La Hoya's exhaustion and his failure to have a solid game plan to stop him. Had Mayweather had been more active, it would have been unanimous.

Floyd POPS oponnents with direct landing combinations to their faces while his oponents often resort to wild flurries that create the illusion of work but, they're not landing anything.
