Meta Ridley is just normal ridley. Ridley is badly injured then the space pirates put some armor on him to protect him. I recon SSB should have more metroid characters! getting meta ridley as a trophy is so pissing annoying. if a trophy stand appears, it's usually at the beginning of the battle. then when one appears when he's at a low enough health, he unleashs his annoying fireball attack just as i trophyfy him, and i can't fall back down in time to collect the trophy! any help here?

I sooo agree with you. I've tried getting him like a dozen times, and the fact that you have to go through the entire level to get to him AND you have two minutes AND it's really hard to capture him when he's over the ship adds up to many failures. :( :( :( :(

I haven't got him yet but my best guess would be to wait till he slides his claw along the ship, but your timing has to be pretty good for that though

I did it today! I suggest intense mode though because everytime I played, like 2-3 trophy stands fell down. Wait until his whole body is over the blue part of the falcon flyer and then throw from under him. You should be able to get it. If you do it on intense though, it will be tough to get to Meta Ridley because of all the enemies and levels. However, you can retry part for part by only losing what you've gotten so far. So anyway, goodluck on getting this boss trophy. He is hard, definetley.=)

The idea of making Ridley playable is idiotic. The thing is an enormous dragon. Trying to resize him into a compatable "fighter" size would be both ungratifying for players and undignifying for one of the last truly 'epic' Nintendo bosses.

I can't think of one fight with Ridley in any Metroid title (or Brawl for that matter) that wasn't amazing and impressive. This battle especially; they nailed his 'mannerisms' from Prime perfectly... i.e. the way he trounces the ship. Awesome battle!

They were always that size. Bowser is smaller, sure, but he changes size constantly even in his own games (Take the boss fight in Sunshine, then refrence it with Galaxy and 64).

And if Kirby is around a foot tall, Dedede should only be slightly taller than an average human.
