wow, they totally got Machida wrong. The next game will definitely be different. Almost everything about Machida in this game looks like Muay Thai which is BS. In real life, Lyoto throws snap kicks and doesn't do Muay Thai elbows and stuff like you were doing here. He's not even in the southpaw Karate stance like in real life! And not one good reverse punch counter. Also, his favorite offense is 1-2-snap kick and knee to the liver and he very rarely goes for a double leg takedown. Just wrong.
ya your right, but it is the first major UFC game ever made, and for that the gameplay is amazing. Agree that most characters need more personalization tho, very generic fighting styles. But like I said, gameplay is amazing.
Yeah, I just got to play it. The game is quite fun, but I still think the stand-up is lacking. The main thing that bothers me is how slow the footwork is; the fighters aren't quick enough on their feet. I'd also say it's missing some important kicking techniques that have actually been used effectively in MMA. Other than that, it is a good game. The grappling and clinch work is really good. I am also a little disappointed in the lack of strength they give the right straight.
