  • The wingnut is in the way...

  • How would it go mounted on the ride? Its pretty cheap like

  • How much was it?

  • Cheap little Zil-Bel almost, thanks for uploading this man.

  • its what i imagine diohreah on astand to sound like

  • where did you get it?

  • That would be a bitch to hit playing thrash metal..

  • I would pay $3000 for this (pennies)

  • Is it loud?

  • @Dragonwatcher2008 Yes. It's actually a little louder if you hit it softer than you would a splash or something. Nylon tips help a lot with the sound.

  • @drhbettathanu Wow, that was fast ;D

    Thank you!

  • Haha SO CUTE! :O

  • shitty sound!!!

  • no.

  • god dude. loosen that bitch. let it breathe!

  • you could just have the damn wingnut on too tight too.... jesus loosen it up

  • le plus dure c'est de la viser

  • They should make a 1/2 inch cymbal. xD

  • aha i need one of those =D

  • how much?

    $150?

  • @EvilTikiO9 Uh.. $25 lol

  • you really have that little thing on that huge stand?

  • @TimMc333 not anymore

  • @TimMc333 I'll tell ya what, I was playin a gig and the stagehands played a joke on me with a 22" ride on a 6" splash...

I've also had a guy use 2 6" splashes as hats.. That was funky.

  • gettin kinda small there paiste

  • It's so teeny! Eeee!

  • It's on too tight...

  • Get another one and make a set of tiny hi hats!!!

  • Would that be good to use as a bell for another cymbal?

  • @stargazer93 yes if you dont like the sound of the bell but its not good at all for riding

  • give you 15 bucks for it

  • @drummerkid904

They're like $30 anyway, just go get a new one. Search "Paiste 2002 Accent" at Musician's Friend, it pops right up.

  • It looks to tight.

  • you should get another one and make 4" high hats/

  • @XxBeatbusterxX 2 in. hats only 4$ xD

  • even this little fucker rapes the zil-bel. i amn going to buy it.

  • That's adorable :3

  • it's probably not good for riding because he has the felt on too tight, which absorbs the waves of resonance, leaving a shitty sound each time you hit it. that's really a waste of a stand, he should just put a stacker on another stand

  • @sgtdrumsolo its stacked on another cymbal now

  • @drhbettathanu thats better, just loosen it up and if that doesn't work, then take the felt off and try it, if that doesn't work, its a shitty cymbal for riding

  • it's so cute!

  • is it kinda as good as a zilbel ?

  • how much for it?

  • lol i can imagine the chuckles as the new guy at Paiste has to hammer this thing into shape

  • Get two of them and make 4" Hi-hats =D

  • @DRUMALLICA i tried that!:) sounds good closed, open sucks:)

  • holy shit sounds amazing!!! tomorrow i'll get one of those

  • Must be pretty hard to hit without messing up. o_o

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx used to be. not anymore tho

  • @drhbettathanu I imagine so, smaller splashes get easier to strike as you get used to having them on your kit, although some of it depends on where you put it. It's not a splash of course but I set my 6" Zil-Bell to where it rests on the top of the rim on my bass drum, so it's right there and easy as ever to hit.

  • lol its a waste if its not only 10$

  • its a cymbal for Tinkerbell lol

  • wooow good!

  • put a bend in it and make a 4 INCH CHINA

    0_0

  • this does not deserve its own stand

  • lol its stacked on my crash now but i want to get it a separate stand so i can put it to the left of my hi hat

  • ha that's cute

  • what are you using to hole the cymbal?

im thinking about getting it but idk what to use to hold it.

  • just a normal cymbal stand

  • thx

  • @drunkenyeknom Pearl L Arm Rod works great lol

  • I have 70's 2002 18in crash and 15in hi hats thats in near mint condition. does anyone have any real experience playing with this cymbal? i find it so amusing im thinking about getting it as an accent piece

  • i didnt when i made this video but i do now. its really good for accents especially during a quick quiet part of a song. not really good for hitting more than twice in a row though.

  • Is there a smaller existing cymbal? If so, someone please tell me, I'd die if i saw it ^_^

  • @cornfudgeycorn lol Like A Half-ich Cymbal? FUNNY!

  • seriously what is the purpose of making a cymbal this small?

  • different sound

  • y not

  • i would miss that thing everytime :P

  • cute^^!

  • Why do you have it tightened down, so? That is how you crack cymbals, and it also hinders the sound.

  • i have it looser now but the sound didnt change and its so small that it would take forever to even show any damage on it at all

  • That's good. Paiste cymbals are not known for cracking, but, when they are clamped down too tight, it can happen. It probably would take forever for it to show any damage, like you said, but at least now that you loosened it, it won't hurt it.

  • yea it takes a lot to crack paistes. my 14" pst 3 crash finally cracked after 2 years of hard playing

  • I have had my Paiste 2002's since the 80's, and none of them have cracked. I have 13" sound edge hih hats, a 22" China, 22" medium crash, 22" Ride 24" crash, 17" Rude ride/crash, the accents cymbals, and cup chimes. The less expensive Paiste's are more prone to crack, especially if you abuse them.

  • if it was loose it would be far too difficult to do more than one strike consecutively. i mean its so small even a small amount of force would really smash it around

  • hahahaha i bought this accent but now seeing how small it is i dont think ill be using it much hahahaha ill probably miss it haha

  • It's so cute lol :P

  • what kind of clamp is it on?

  • clamp? i dont know what your talking about sorry

  • clamp/stand/hardware lol

  • lol whats the point

  • to let people know how it sounds if they want to buy it

  • No I mean whats the point in the cymbal lol.

  • for accents thats why the word "accent" is in the name of the cymbal

  • it is the smallest and cheapest cymbal guitar center sells at a whopping 4 inches and $25

  • lol go buy another and make 4inch hi hats :P

  • lmfao i can only imagine that

id most likely miss trying to hit that while playing lol

  • lol itd be entertaining though :P i might do it for kicks

  • I'm going to go try that now.

  • Type in :ELP: Karn Evil 9 1st Impression pt. 2 Carl Palmer Drum Solo~Steve Barber here at YT.

I am using 4,6 &8" accent cymblas, which are to my right, which you will hear me play at the end of the solo. They are inexpensive, thick little cymbals that cut through. Carl Palmer used them in several ELP tunes, and during solos. The end of the solo where I plat them and the rest of the cymbals I did spontaneously.

  • best idea ever lol

  • can you take the wing nut and top felt off and do a short vid and send it to me?=)

  • yea if i remember :)

  • sounds exactly the same except for about a 5 second longer sustain so im not gonna make a video

  • ok well telling me is just as good(better) if the change isn't much so thanks for your reply.

  • thats the most amazing thing ive ever seen. =D
