  • Gorki Águila has won me over. How great it is when he says "You know" in English. Support this guy and his band. Help to free Cubans.

  • Communism you see today is not true Communism its Stalinism.

  • @harperyouth The Communism you see today is the same Communism you've seen forever. Communism means living by a council of the chosen who decide who gets what and who does what while skimming off the top for themselves.

Communism is one of the many forms of Collectivism. Collectivism is the true doctrine of evil against the individual and the chief cause of suffering among the world. More over, Collectivism in whatever guise -- Socialism, Fascism, Feudalism -- has been the only source.

  • @VChapaev

You must be a gay hippy...here I'll explain...the gay part must be from you lashing out on someone who you think is gay and ya haven't come outta the closet yet. Hippies support Che, fidel, and every pink commie thing, so hurry up! your friends are waiting by the campfire to sing some "cumbaya!"

  • @elgrano You watch too much TV and Ford F-150 commercials with your lifting of hippies around a campfire singing "cumbaya".

  • Comment removed

  • @TruthAxe

Lifting? So if Ford had a commercial about punk rockers doing mosh, pogo-ing, stage diving at a club, and he had made a reference to a punk rocker doing all of the above, he would have "lifted?" Hippies have been around parks, city street corners, AND campgrounds around a campfire all over the world singing that song before any car commercial emulated that particular scene. Go out to the world and turn off YOUR television to see for yourself.

  • @ReyCanario11 He lifted it. It's nearly a direct quote of comedian Denis Leary performing the voice over.

In short, elgrano is an unoriginal thinker. That makes him dull and unfunny as an insult artist on YouTube.

So who are you anyway, ReyCanario? His mother?

  • @TruthAxe Leary is american comedian I guess? american car companies and whomever Leary is did not invent the stereotype of kumbaya being sung around the campfire by hippies. It is a known stereotype like they ty-dye clothes, marijuana use, etc. before any of american car commercials you say. Anyone will tell you. Who am I? Somebody addressing another who has hear kumbaya sung in the campfire for the first time in his life from an american car commercial.

  • You amuse, @ReyCanario11.

The exact combo of hippies around a campfire singing kumbaya was invented by the ad execs of that Ford F-150 TV ad narrated by Denis Leary.

Nowhere else shall you find such.

    But keep amusing me.

  • @TruthAxe

So the exact same combo of hippies around a campfire singing kumbaya was invented by an ad executive?? Oh boy! So who invented moshing-Heineken's advert agency?? Who invented the moonwalk dancing--Timberland's advert agency?? lol. Wow, I should stay inside and watch a lot of television like you to learn my history! In fact, your amusing me, do you have your own show?

  • You amuse, @ReyCanario11. Again!

You don't get it. Hippies invented themselves. But an ad agency creative created the exact combo of "hippies sitting around a campfire singing kumbaya", which, like a typical TV watching stooge, elgrano parroted, as all parrots whose minds get controlled do.

  • @TruthAxe I believe you do not get it. At my old job in Madrid, there was co-worker that likes to go camping. Most of the staff was not campers. They bother him because he was very much a hippy. People used to joke with him that he was going to smoke marijuana or do acid. When he brought his acoustic to go camping, people will bother him and say he was going to sing songs of Kumbaya and Phish songs around the fire. That was 1990's. It is a stereotype like saying redneck buys pickup truck.

  • So read...weep...and look up the info on Ford Media's release date for your cute cumbaya commercial. Thanks for ruining Gorki's page with Ford and Leary talk instead of being elsewhere analyzing Star Trek!

  • @ReyCanario11 Thanks for prepping him up for me, I just read the back and forth and he's a trip! Next thing ya know he'll be yelling at the ashes of the Lord of The Rings author to tell him that he copied the Lord of the Rings movies from a few years ago. Let me go as I have to give this hump a little "escuela" Gracias hermano!

  • @TruthAxe I watch too much tv lol ?? yet you point the finger and supposedly red flag someone like an anal retentive Star Trek fanboy on speed catching mistakes, copying, and over analyzing every single word and line instead of being outside and getting laid instead of in front of the tv watching Ford....cough, cough, hypocrite! So upon doing some research, I noticed you accused me of....

  • You amuse, @elgrano.

Mere words have triggered you into anger. Look at you go!

My words are like the strings and you're my little marionette. I pull those strings and you dance.

That you resort to name calling shows the world what a weak, inferior mind you possess.

And that you share your fantasies about what others do and don't do is most amusing. Yet, it takes experience to describe and thus that you can describe oh-so-well about sitting at home and not getting laid says it all.

  • @TruthAxe

Hey Pal, I don't speak heavy metal talk so keep those "i pull mario the puppet's strings" talk to yourself lol. Name calling hmmmmmm. You kindaaa opened thoooose dooors yourself with telling Rey Canary "a typical TV watching stooge, elgrano parroted, as all parrots whose minds get controlled do." So if you kicked the rottweiler, ya kinda can't blame him for gnawing at what's left of you lol. Angry?? Me?? I'm just laughing at how you divert from having been wronged. Ouch!

  • @elgrano Dance my little marionette, dance. Parrot others. Perform on command. HA HA HA

  • @TruthAxe

Oh boy, someone speak Heavy Metal talk that they can translate all this? lol.

  • ....lifting hippy's singing cumbaya at a campfire from a Ford commercial. Mind you, a reference to what goes on with our non-bathing friends portrayed through having a joke at their expense, movie portrayals, and of course in their real life social activities...and this is ALL BEFORE Denis Leary was stealing jokes from Bill Hicks lol! How you missed the boat on that? I don't know. Now, on to the accusation, and again, upon doing research I noticed...

  • ...you blindly and uninformedly reacted to my post from 5 months ago(July? August?)...let's say it again "5 months ago." Well, and god bless the internet lol, Ford's ad agency states they've been using denis leary in their ad campaign since '08. Before my post, ok. Well, upon researching your cute cumbaya commercial ala Leary and Ford, Ford themselves state the ad campaign specifically for their 2011 f-150(repeat 2011 f-150) was released on Nov. 5th 2010...one month ago...

  • The ever amusing @elgrano.

That TV ad has been running for over a year. That you feel the need to lie for YT is most amusing.

Good luck with your mediocre IQ existence.

  • @TruthAxe

No champ, the ad campaign with leary blabbing yes, but not the 2011 F-150 cumbaya spot...a year ago they were on the 2010's F-150! Nice try!

  • You amuse, @elgrano. Again!

Autotalk dot com talks about the commercial all the way back to May 10. You're nothing but a liar. That means you come from garbage, a garbage mommy and a garbage daddy who taught you how to lie.

Swaying like hippies around a campfire, which you stole from the F-150 ad came out a long time ago, more than seven months.

    autotalk . com / 2011-ford-super-duty-commercial-kumbaya-4261 /

  • @TruthAxe

EVEN, and I mean, EVEN if it came out 10 years ago, it's insane you've never heard the references to hippies at a campfire. So wait, did Timberlands ad agency invent the moonwalk? lol

  • The ever amusing @elgrano. What a piece of work you are.

First, exposed for being an idea thief and then exposed for being caught in a lie. Now, you're making excuses merely.

Quickly, run to a mirror and face truth. See that big backward L on your forehead as the true you stares back at yourself.

  • RE: Che the fact is that Che hero was Mao... Who was as brutal a dictator and a mass murder as Hitler. Mao killed 30 to 50 million people. Cuba has horrible civil liberties ppl get on boats to leave Cuba not to come to it. That should tell you which country is exploiting the poor. Stop watching Michael Moore & democracy now. Stop being an apologist for one of the most brutally repressive regimes on earth.

  • @davidmesaaz And how many civilians all around the world has the US and european goverments have killed in the last century with "friendly" fire or paramilitary funding? I would say to you "stop being an apologist for one of the most brutally repressive regimens on earth". Lets start being critical to all regimens that torture and kill people wether it be comunist, socialist, capitalist, liberal, conservative, left wing or right wing.

  • @betoos How many? Not nearly as many has they have helped.... The Green revolution... which was paid for by Americans has helped over a 1 billion people. Communists have killed of 50 million people... If America is one of the most brutal regimes on earth then why are Cuban boat people going to the United States instead of the other way around?

  • @sausages1103 The WHO gets the stats from Cuba itself There isn't one third party that actually checks independently their Health Care system. If Cuba has such great Health care why not let everyone see it? Because if they did the world would see that the party leaders get quality health care the the poor gets appallingly bad health care even by third world standards.

  • @davidmesaaz And you trust the statistics from the WHO, really? Who gives those statistics to the WHO, the Cuban government??? LOL!!!! You need to go to Cuba, I was there recently, you should see the hospitals for the Cubans, the lack of standards of sanity, roaches, no water in the main quirurgic salon, bad smell, equipment with lifecycle expired in 1st world countries are the ones they use for the Cubans... you should see that my friend!!!

  • @kuba2ve If you think that I was defending the Cuban government your mistaken... Its been awhile but I think that I was commenting on the WHO statistics from Michael Moores SICKO... I don't trust the statistics i was pointing out the error in the statistics that the Cuban government is the only organization that gets information about the Cuban health care system.

  • Gorki is a TRUE Cuban REBEL. I think this Guy will go down in Cubas written History. Keep Rocking

  • They are such paragons for democratic society that you are able to prove that fact with a well reasoned argument instead of saying vacuous shit... Oh wait.

  • Why dont we just trade with them and let them be socialists...I dont get it...They make a lot of money of tourism down there...They would make even more if the US gov't would let us travel there....

    but w/e

  • I think cuba would be better off without the blockade

against it enforced by the US....

  • Michael Moore. How do you defend your favourite regime now?

  • This guy is awesome:)

  • Thank you ReasonTV. I just discovered a talent to support. Porno Para Ricardo!

  • I think this should be required viewing for every Rocker that dares to wear a Che Guevara T-Shirt

  • hey! you will love this. i was in the grocery store the other night around 2am after work and i saw this goofy punk rock idiot decked out in the fidel castro hat, camp shorts, combat boots, etc. he had that awful che guevara image tattooed on the back of his left calf.

  • @davidmesaaz It sounds like Gorki Aguila may have taken advantage of the completely free and excellent education that Che Guevara fought for, possibly even its healthcare. Why do you think no rocker should dare wear a Che t-shirt?

  • @sausages1103 oh yes when they list the worlds best colleges Cuban colleges rank right up there with Harvard and Yale. If they truly do have such free and excellent health care why don't they allow a third party to verify it? They won't allow the UN or NGO or any University. Cuban health care is just like other Communist countries. Everyone is created equally but some are more equal than others. If it is a workers paradise then why are workers migrating from instead of migrating to Cuba?

  • @sausages1103 Why shouldn't idiot rockers wear a Che Guevara t-shirt? For the same reason idiots shouldn't wear a Mao Stalin or Hitler T-Shirts. Because Che was a brutal mass murder.....And a whole legion of apologists can't change that fact.

  • @davidmesaaz If they don't have a free and excellent healthcare how come the WHO publishes statistics that show they have a longer life expectancy in the USA? And to compare Che, who ordered the executions of hundreds of 'counter revolutionaries' who would have otherwise returned to attack the country (which some did in 1961), with Hitler is an insult to anyone who can think for themselves. Turn fox news off for a second and look at the facts

  • @sausages1103 Also what you said its ok to be a mass murderer and kill people with out a trial or evidence as long as you think that they are "counter revolutionaries" Do you realize that , that line of thought is shared by all fascists communists tyrants and dictators?

And your saying that I don't think for myself? Che hated dissent and hated people that thought for themselves those that did were killed immediately.

  • @davidmesaaz yeah! let's wear more ronald reagan shirts!

  • How did they get this video? Does this guy still live in Cuba?

  • He came to the US on a visa .. The hope that he would come to the US and never return to cuba..

  • Infiltrating a political party would a bad idea. I think it goes against principles, but thats just me. We have to realize that the Libertarian party is the big tent party and start getting the message out there. I believe we need to start appealing to moderates of all parties and independents. A good place to start would be the log cabin republicans, college campuses, and just get the message out there.

  • It's sad the way they named people in Cuba after Russian names and places because of the Soviets. "Gorki" Aguilar; "Vladimir" Rodriguez.. Certain Reason mag-types who are militant atheists should remember (or learn) that Castro essentially forbade Christian names like Maria and Cristina. People in Cuba came up with strange names as a consequence. Removal of religion from the civil society is a one-way road to ideological totalitarianism.

  • Ironically, in Russia "Vladimir" is a very Christian name, since it is the name of the person who turned medieval Russia into a Christian nation. So in Soviet Russia they sometimes came up with other names to commemorate Lenin, like Vladilen (Vladimir Ilyich Lenin), Marlen (Marx-Lenin) and Mels (Marx-Engels-Lenin-Stalin).

  • I didn't now about Marlen or Mels - interesting, thanks.

  • i hate commies

  • The idea that we, as Libertarians, have to pretend to be of the same political ideology as the likes of G.W. and Pat Robertson, just because fiscal issues are important, at the moment, is repulsive.

The Republicans either need to accept that individuals have control over their own bodies and relationships, or I'll continue voting against whoever is in power.

  • Comment removed

  • Stupid Asshole. It's the Democrats who are the fascists who want to control your body, what you put in it and how your entire life is run.

    Wake up, dumb fucking commie.

  • Call ME a commie? You're a partisan hack...And a troll. I'm for INDIVIDUAL freedom. Not group-think, like you.

The Republicans are perfectly OK with the drug war. They can't stand Prostitution. They're complicit in the question as to whether the state should have anything to do with marriage, or not. They also don't believe a woman should be allowed to control what is allowed to live within HER OWN BODY.

Democrats want what's in your pocket. Republicans want what's in your crotch.

  • Democrats want more than what's in your pocket.

    They want your soul.

When they are doling out health care to all the drones the drones will have to do as they are told so they don't run up their health care bill.

No care for smokers. No care for drinkers. No care for fatsos. Great fantasy of a plan they have.

  • averagejoe040:

    Good point.

Both of these parties need to leave us alone.

  • Comment removed

  • Rock on buddy

  • The guy should name one of his next tracks 'Civil Disobedience'.

  • I don't think Libertarians should infiltrate the Republicans or any political party for that matter (including the LP). The political system is broken and I think libertarians should be prepared to fight for freedom outside the boundaries of the corrupt political system.

Google Agorism if you're interested in a libertarian anarchist approach to change. (btw: I should note that I identify as both agorist and mutualist). Send me a message if you want to discuss this further (that goes for anyone)

  • I say microsecession

  • Michael Moore told me Cuba was a Communist utopia.

    Damn, I was lied to.

    LOL!

  • Cuba needs freedom.

    USA needs freedom too.

Cap & Trade restricts freedom in the name of Global Warming hysteria.

Government Health Care takeover also restricts freedom.

The "public option" leaves you with no options.

Maybe Gorki came to the wrong country.

The USA is about to become another Cuba.

  • It's awesome to see other artists creating for the promotion of the individual, honestly and cognizantly. gabba gabba

  • Freedom is not dead as not as people want it. However if we start thinking some just gives it to you that when we lose it. We have to fight for it.

  • but michael moore and sean penn say cuba is great! can't this guy see that he's rebeling against the only good and pure society in the western hemisphere? when will these ignorant peasants learn their place?

hold on ...let me get my head out of my ass...damn it stinks in here...

  • 'All Hail Castro!'

    'Zig!'

    Heil!'

    'Zig!'

    Heil!'

  • If by "Left" you mean "supporters of big government" I agree. There is however a section of the "Left" that is libertarian and against big government. Regardless, the terms "right" and "left" are becoming increasingly irrelevant today.

  • The libertarian left is for big government interference in the economy, against government interference in social life. In America, ironically, blue states have the biggest government interference in both spheres, despite believing themselves to not be as paternalistic as red states.

This was the conclusion of a study called "Freedom in the 50 states". As the number of democratic voters went up, the overall freedom in the state went down.

  • Actually, the "Libertarian Left" has been renamed to "Agorist" as they don't want to be associated with the small government libertarians anymore, they anarchists and they want to dismantle the government, by tax, regulation, and inflation avoidance. Basically, peacefully.

  • Well, I've never seen a leftist describe themselves as libertarian, what I meant by libertarian left, was social liberals.

Libertarians tend to have more in common with conservatives, than so-called "agorists" have in common with mainstream liberals who believe government is the solution to society's ills.

  • Actually you should watch Reason tvs interview with John Stossel. Socially Liberal is actually more freedom in social lives. Technically Libertarianism is Fisically conservative and socially liberal. Free-Market Liberals is the best description of Libertarianism.

  • I know, I haven't said otherwise sorry, I think you misunderstood what I wrote.

  • I feel I should clarify a few things here. First off, The Libertarian "Left" is composed of two different groups. The first group believes in communitarian forms of government that are voluntary as well as egalitarian.

The second group believes that the "libertarian right" is not effective in its fight for freedom, and therefore take a more radical in their approach to liberty activism (agorists, etc).

    Both are pro-liberty and anti-state.

I personally consider myself part of both groups.

  • Its cool, I might have. I consider myself Libertarian, but I'm not an expert. What makes the GOP so far away from the Libertarians is the social conservatives and big government Neo-cons. The GOP has become big government as well. The Democrats are extremely big Government, but are better on some social issues. Both parties are big government letdowns.

  • Or Republicans with bongs. LOL.

  • Or "Classical Liberalism" as opposed to "Neo Liberalism."

  • "so-called "agorists" have in common with mainstream liberals who believe government is the solution to society's ills. "

Look up agorism. It is an anarchist philosophy that is totally opposed to the state, I think you have your terms mixed up.

  • It must be my fault, you're the second person to read the opposite of what I meant to say.

I said Agorists have nothing in common with the mainstream left, while Libertarians have a lot more in common with mainstream american conservatism.

  • My apologies!

  • You speak of modern liberalism. Classical liberalism stands for Laissez-faire. Modern Liberalism is somewhat a blight to what it was originally formed as. I'm a libertarian, and a classical liberal. There isn't that much difference.

  • Yeah, I know. Visit my channel and you'll find classical liberalism cited as one of my interests.

  • If only castro had listened to Stairway to heaven, he would have turned into a better person all round.

  • if there's a bustle in your hedgerow, dont' be a communist now

  • This flies right in the face of the Leftist "Art Community". It has always been bewildering how artists, particularly Hollywood, and musicians are to the far left. They have no idea what it would be like to live without freedom. Hollywood loves Castro and Hugo Chavez! It is disgusting! GOD BLESS GORKI!

"When I came to this country we didn't have a cent in our pockets. From cleanin' canary cages to this night here in New York, I would like to say Thank you America, Thank you."~ Desi Arnaz

  • Collectivist Statists only want art in the form of propaganda in support of their cause/ power.

  • This is a great example of what the left does to a society.

  • Or, Of what the "EXTREME" left does to society.

  • Outside of Bongos which is owned by the Estefan's. It says this restuarant is dedicated to once and one day future of a restored Cuba.
