  • i am confused by the scene of the couple walking down a hill at ~0:12 ... everyone knows that there's no topography in the 2-5

  • @chijj2000 It's the Bird & Butterfly Sanctuary off Lawrence Ave. & the River. We entered just West of the bridge, north side of the street. :)

  • great vid guys. gave me a good laugh.

  • Fun jam, but you totally dissed the AP which also falls in the 25.

  • @hamiltonsvlog

    forreal.. albany park 60625

    Fuck lincoln square

  • @hamiltonsvlog

    yeah, but it's LS's trash dump! (:

  • fucking hipsters

  • I've been rollin in the 2-5 since 95. LOVE THIS! Lincoln Square represent. ha ha ha. Put us on the map. Good job guys. Wish there was some river shots though :)

  • I love it!

  • Hey, you forgot La Bocca! I think you should make a separate video of just that!

  • No love for Garcia's?! Awesome post though, miss working in the 2-5.

  • So amazing. This has made my day on 3 separate days. Priz is my hero.

  • This is amazing.

  • Love it!

  • I think I'm gonna move!

  • YAY!!! I LOVED THIS :DDD

  • AWESOME!

  • Awesome, i'm surprised the huge piece of the Berlin Wall in the train station wasn't in this video.

  • @matrix2004 Good point & I agree! I did get a whole bunch of footage of the piece of wall and wanted to use it. But we had so much to pack into a 2:30 song. Other footage I'd have loved to include: The Soldier's faces, Dankhaus, Albany Park area signs, cool stuff in the window of Quake . . . more Tai Chi moves . . . hmmm, maybe we'll do a bonus mix :)

  • The Grafton is awesome...way better than the Daily and Bad Dog...why not mention that it is almost always impossible to find a seat at the Grind?

  • Love it! can't wait for the sophomore edition!

  • Love it! Great job.

  • I love this! I'm a life-long Chicagoan and a Linc. Sq. resident for 30 yrs. Shootings have never been common here!

  • I miss rollin' in the 2 5! Too bad I couldn't afford to buy in the neighborhood :(

  • Love this! This my neighborhood and this is so true about the dodging strollers. Selmarie has great fruit tarts, fyi.

  • This was top notch, thanks for smiles, well done Ali, Mike, and 25 crew. Hoard loves all the 25 people, they're the best of the best, and why did I live in Rogers Park

    (26) for so long??????

  • omg....i work at OTS....this is hilarious!!!

  • Two quibbles: The Grafton rocks and the waitresses are the bomb! Does get crowded, I'll grant, but I guess I go at off times. Also the Huettenbar has no air conditioning and the hipster bartenders who ignore you. Other than that, loved the video and love the 2-5!

  • nice! i had almost forgotten about this. went looking for it a few days ago and couldn't find it!

wish i coulda made it out to Welles Park that day- the lighting is a lot better than Riccochet's :)

  • I live in the 4-0 but I love the 2-5

  • Yeah..I remember getting shot at more than once. The neihborhood sure has changed, just not sure if its for the better???

  • @Benji: HAHA! wait, that didn't come out right. ;-) agreed, the "after bedtime" crowd of the Square are a quirky, lopsided bunch of freaks and scumbags, aka my kind of crowd. :) will have to give the 'hood another nighttime chance soon...

  • I rep the 4-7 but love to visit the 2-5! Yeah Old Town School!!

  • In the last 15 years the the neighborhood has changed drastically! Some good some bad (why the hell you need an SUV stroller I will never know) The GangBangers have been pushed to the fringe and the mostly oblivious have moved in! But after 13 years of bartending, drinking and various lascivious acts in the Square I will say that we still have a pretty fricken good group of people roaming these parts(if only after bedtime)! Come on into Ricochets and you will see!!!

  • @benji1771 How's Rick's doin'. I remember when it used to be called Pete's

  • Wait Kristy seeing me reminds you of why you wanted to move out of the neighborhood? Thanks!

  • the best part of this video is the all-too-brief Benji/Ricochets cameo... and the way it reminded me how very happy i am that i moved the hell out of that stagnant neighborhood finally.

  • You know, it wasn't that long ago that you'd see gang members and the odd shooting here and there in Lincoln Square. Well........closer to Foster and Damen, but still.

  • In order for this to be funny you need to work on your delivery and voice...make it sound more contemporary.

  • Nice. I live in the "18" but I can respect the "25".

  • Dude, this is outstanding...

I was spotting cameos left right and centre. I'm just gonna go break my lease - I'll be over soon...

  • Lincoln Square, that's where it's at! I remember sitting next to the person who was taping at The Grind...

  • Amazing video! Super funny! Also, who's that handsome guy who plays the mandolin?

  • AwwwwwYeah.
