I call myself eclectic wiaccan and get so much crap for it, but I honestly cant have one religion my beliefs are scattered across many different religions. Wicca is just what I feel most comfortable with. I still do believe Jesus did exsist and he was a prophet and did come to erase our sins... But I do somewhat believe in reincarnation and connecting to the world around us (number one reason why I love wicca ^^)
@MrPeterIt i am alot like you. Raised Catholic... Believe in Jesus...and believe he did come here to teach us, but I dont think he came here expecting to be worshiped. THats what christians do, and I can say that BECAUSE I was a christian. I have an issue with organized religion as a whole, so I consider myself an eclectic witch ( not even wiccan, because thats a religion). I say I am a witch because I follow the path of the wise women who used natural magick. )O(
@lilnuttyredhead I was raised Catholic as well but the religion never seemed to click with me...I never got the whole fear God thing....one second they say he is our best friend next they say you should be absolutely terrified of him. I like wicca because the Goddess and God (basically god split in two different people like the father son and holy spirit) on more reachable level,I guess you could say they are on a more humanly level?
Great points. Eclectics (like myself) follow our hearts, not a dogmatic book. Although if others want to follow a set in stone path, that is fine too, since it works for them. I think as long as there is respect for the deities, any path can work...
I completely agree with you and see where your coming from. I grew up Catholic and I've always had some kind of relationship with Jesus and while I don't worship the Christian God, I found it hard to leave behind Jesus. I think that religion should depend on what you believe and not what someone or something (like a book) tells you to believe. It's all up for interpretation and everyone interperets things differently.
@emotionalxx3 It sounds like our beliefs are quite similar. I still have a relationship with Jesus although I don't worship the Christian God, too. So thank you for your comment. :) Love and light.
Very nice vid, I couldn't agree more (: <3

If you ask 10 different wiccans a question your going to get 10 different answers. This applies to people as well.
