I went to see this match. No doubt Alrovski definitely brought it. Andrei definitely looked great and gave Fedor significant trouble...but like Arlovsky said he made a mistake and Fedor saw it...it cost him the match. Fedor showed why he is the worlds top fighter. Arlovski is a great fighter and will be around for a long time.

In all fairness, AA was only a junior Sambo champ. Fedor is world-class at Sambo.
Other than that it should be a good fight and im hoping AA wins. I think AA can beat Fedor on their feet, but he needs to dictate the fight. He cant let Fedor let his hands go.

Biceps have no correlation with strike speed. The reason why some pro boxers do not train biceps is because they dont need them for their sport. They do enough training as it is.

I don't recall Fedor ever really sitting in Nog's guard for any length of time, he would come into it after a hard flurry standing up, but he was usually out of it pretty quickly.
Big Nog actually tried to lean his body up prior to their second fight because he felt he had to make Fedor respect him in standup to get him to the ground on his own terms.

Let me tell you all something real quick.. The Mystique of Fedor is toast..... A focused Andre Arlovski is a very dangerous man and he seems to be peacking right now... Additionally, his style is way better suited for a ring rather then a cage and Fedor is going to have some serious problems with him... You can talk all the crap you want about the ground, But Arlovski will turn this into a boxing match and he will DOMINATE..
