Beautiful to see the old girl pressed back into service and doing some real work. Can't beat the sound of a Deltic. As a kid I remember them well thundering up and down the ECML. Happy days...

The deltic looks strangely at home in those surroundings. Pretty far removed from the relative flatness of its original stomping ground.

How does she manage to work on the WHL without having RETB fitted?
