Watched this Russian movie some years ago,abt modern day vampires,amazing movie,well acted,camera work ace,everyone here in UK was on abt it n had either seen it or had the DVD even my m8 had a copy,they made another one,i think Day Watch,but I havent seen that yet

There are books, huh? I can't read Russian so I can't compare the translation to the original. But as I saw Night Watch, I realized I was viewing an actual film, not just a movie. I thought Day Watch was a little too Hollywood, & as I line up for Twilight Watch, I will hope against hope that it doesn't follow that trend. Sometimes spending more makes a worse movie. SPOILER WARNING: Since they killed Kostya & Anton won't do the 3rd movie, what's left?no amount of special fx can fix that.

Um...I thought the movie was horrible! It took stuff from The Day Watch book and added it to the movie and the movie only revolved around the first story. Yet it took some stuff from the other 2 stories too. The books are much better even with the errors in translation.

You should be able to get the third book in stores, it's called Twilight Watch. I think they may have translated it as Dusk Watch in the UK, but just ask for Twilight Watch.

Final/Last Watch (depends on translation) is out in Jan 2009.

Yeah, but the only problem is american version is slightly different from the UK copy. So I want to continue reading the UK one's. I looked at WH Smith(the store I bought my copies from) and they don't ship outside UK. I'll continue looking. I saw the movies and they weren't too shabby.
