lolwhat? Goku's power level was several MILLION around the time of his SSJ ascension. Bardock's Power Level was probably only like several thousand. I'm sure there's an accurate measure of his numeral power level, but if I had to guess I'd say it's around 3,000? Most of Frieza's minions are around 800-1.1k? And Bardock definitely didn't display Nappa quality power. Anywho, Bardock had no where nearrrrrr the type of power required to sustain transforming into a super saiyan~

@rackettown thats not how the transformation works. it's triggered by intense rage pushing the saiyan beyond breaking point. goku snapped with krillin dying, future trunks snapped with gohan, vegeta snapped over not being able to understand. if bardock avoided the blast and saw the planet destroyed, it may have caused him to transform, but it still wouldnt have been enough to beat frieza anyway. SSJ only gives you so much of a power boost and he wouldnt handle frieza's full power

Technically Goku DID destroy Frieza. He wasnt the same after he fought Goku and just seeing Trunks go SSJ was enough to make him relive his nightmare. So Bardock's vision wasnt wrong. Goku would bring down Frieza... Trunks just allowed his body to follow.

Bardock is the same. Even though he attempted to stop Freeza (thereby saving millions), he still had a lifetime of clearing planets and (in doing so eradicating the inhabitants) I don't think one selfless act is enough to get you out of HFIL.

According to Dragon ball heroes Bardock survives and goes to the past on planet Vegeta when the Tuffles lived there, then Chilled invades who is an ancestor of Frieza, Bardock goes super saiyan and defeats him then Chilled escapes and tells all the story of the super saiyan.
