The guy taking acid in the first part is Roger High, he's wearing my camel blazer. The film was shot in my house at 1460 Masonic, Yes his real name is Roger High. Roger went on to marry my 1968-1972 girl friend from Minneapolis, Karen Melquist, who lived with Phil Lesh and I in Fairfax in 1971. We did not want it to be a scare movie, but the producers had a hard-on for Lsd. The stock shots were clipped in in San Mateo County.
The shots in a record store/headshop show Ron Theilin, founder of the Psychydelic Shop. That's me in there answering the Phone in front of the Sutros Bath poster. Now very collectible.. Research tells us that it turned more people on then off..radical street stuff ..cool. Shot of Brain is not THE MND...but they had no clue. Hank Harrison
@tiadoran They were meant to be figures of fun and entirely unsympathetic characters. It looks like a very carefully crafted piece designed to appear to be even handed.
Albert Hoffman absorbed LSD through his fingertip, he didn't inhale it.

This film was first planned out in my living room. The whole idea of having the LSD molecule narrate the sound track is mine.

Two questions:
1. Was it the song at 2:40 ?
2. Is that Wiliam Shatner narrating?

I'm already scared of hallucinogens. I've read that people with vivid imaginations don't fare so well on them.
This video is pretty funny though. I especially liked the conservative-looking people reading books with "LSD" boldly printed on the covers.
