Have you thought of using KOH (Potassium hydroxide) instead of baking soda? I think it might increase your HHO production. Be careful though as it is corrosive and will cause a severe chemical burn to your skin.

now collect the Hydrogen gas and put a lighter to it on camera.. as far as the viewer is concerned all thats happening with the bubbling is the baking soda reacting. Prove that H2 gas is being produced

SS wire is not available at our local hardware stores, Home Depot, Lowes. We are looking on the internet for a good source of supply. sop far not found good source.

@harleyghost stepping up the voltage will increase the speed of the reaction, but it will also degrade the electrodes very quickly.

How about a vid showing how this was constructed? I am having trouble seeing where you applied the rubber hoses. I can see you cut it in a six by six config. And does it matter where I solder the Cath and anode? Like should I do both on the top side or should one go on top and the other on the bottom?

Also did you use a 3/8ths spacing?

Have you ever tried cutting the mesh into squares and using nylon washers to keep them separate?

It would give you much tighter spacing and better output.

That's not enough gas to cause any explosion hazards in the room. Hydrogen isn't harmful if inhaled or anything.

true enough but that is awhile off i switched to perpetual motion till then to generate electricity with a generator hooked to a perpetual motion device the electric car with some actual mileage would be a reality ,in the charging as you go realm, if the HHO would produce enough gas to run a gen set that is what i was after to begin with and run a battery pack to run an electric motorized car,maybe a dual fuel engine could be in the wings ???

Very good video, would like to see this design with a neutral plate/screen and a pulsed power input and get some measurements on the actual hho output. I like the fact that is very low current draw.

hey what equipment do you use to control/measure the flow of eletricty from your power source to the generator. or did you just directly put it on a car battery using jumper cables?

For this test I'm just using the 12v charger and a direct connect from the car battery. A more permanent solution would include some sort of regulator with a fused connection.

try using distilled water and baking soda the distilled water has less imperitys (i know i did not spell that right) so the cell is more efficiant

I did use distilled h20...but I have a h20 softener for the house and I think because of that, I get the same results as using distilled. Maybe I should have stated that little factoid...

I have heard that using SS causes production of hexavalent chromium, how true is this, and which metals will not do this and also not deteriorate in the process? NiTi? Platinized Niobium? Carbon? that is when you use certain electrolytes. To my knowledge the best generators don't need electrolytes, which could be the reason you read nothing about it.

The charger is providing 6v (5.6v) to the cell.

I would like to know if you have tried burning the gas to heat the water, which will in turn increase the efficiency. If you can get that simple cycle going you could heat a home by boiling water with the hydrogen and the heat is just the loss from the process.

This is great but you have to compare the work the battery alone can do to the work the HHO produced can do. The ratio is the important part. There is no free lunch.

Our greatest resource has been ignored far too long. Our trash is the second source of energy we should be researching. Hydrothermaldepolymerzation creates gasses, oils and coal out of crap we throw away every day.

I made one just like this today and it does produce a gas but it is not combustible, how come?? any suggestions??

If you truly made Hydroxy gas via electrolysis, it is combustible. Always assume a gas the you produce is highly flammable and will explode. It really matters how you are trying to burn it. HHO gas has a loose atomic structure and dissipates quickly. Look at my Crazy Coil vid for ideas on how to "burn" the gas.

Thanks for the comment... You actually meant to decrease the spacing? Check out my Crazy Coil vid. That's exactly what I did. Yes, more production. My next coil design will be more turns with the mesh as close as I can get it. Also will be trying to use a PWM in next design. Just waiting for more cash. I want something soon to put into my '02 Durango.

You don't want to bottle it... This is HHO on-DEMAND...straight to the airbox or fuel injection area. There's an extra device needed to trick the O2 sensor to allow the full benefits of HHO. Slow progress, but will have more later. Look at some of my "Fav's" for more info.

Hi apollozcreed, Thanks for the recognition at the end of the video...Many thanks! Now on to the rest of what I have learned....I have installed mine in my car (91 Honda Accord EX-F22A engine), and found it to produce way too much Hydroxy to use without an O2 mod. It would flood out bad and miss, kick and sputer beyond drivability. When turned off all returned too normal. Now with a lot of research and learning I have built an O2 offset device and got it working just today!

I was able to run the cell for about 15 miles on the way home with no ill effect at all! I will know soon about mileage gains but I expect real savings. Now I will tell you that baking soda will poduce C02 and is dangerous to use indoors for testing...I have been told now many times to use Sodium Hydroxide and that is hat I use now and have come to like it better, it leaves no mess and the water stays clear...Now 12 volts at the amps I run gets too hot, but 5 volts kicks ass! in the car.

Thanks much for the update of your testing... This is very cool stuff and I think someone soon will stumble upon the real deal. You are adding the HHO via an air tube into your air intake (air box)? That's the way I would assume you are doing it, unlike Meyer who apparently drove his buggy on HHO only. As you can see, one of the other commenter's spoke about the PWM also. There does seem to be something going on with this device and what it does current.

Thanks... It's actually just 2 U-shaped 6x3" mesh bends with 1/4" rubber hose on the ends to separate them. Not familiar with the Boyce design, so I'll have to take a look. I just know that SS (mesh or plates) is not cheap.
