The goal isn't to sound like the other band. It's too take a msterpiece and make it your own. If you knew anything about music, you'd know that.

Believe me I do...and you can not take a masterpiece and make it your's...would you take the number of the beast and make it your's?the only way is to just cover them...but cover them good just like iced earth for the number of the beast..what i hear there is not even singing...it's someone speaking in the worst way he can..take this as a comment that will help you and not anything offensive...

No I wouldn't cuz Slayer sucks the assholes of 7 year olds. Check out my vocal covers. I took the songs vocals and made them sound more like what I would want them to sound like. In otherwords, I have made them mine.
