This paster is trying to perfect a California snob clique. Jesus says the lowliest among you will be the highest. They were not EVIL they cannot help where they live. Remember the story of Lazarus. So what would happen if a homeless man walked in? Would they be like the Pharisees and throw him out? I'm sorry but I think this is bad teaching.
"Be on your guard as to yourself and your teaching." 1Tim 4:16.
I knew you didn't know what it said, and I didn't want you to have to go digging through everything to find your missing Bible, so I posted it here for you.
You're not a man of character or honor. You're a coward. You're a little man. You don't know the Word of God. You blaspheme a man from your own ignorance and unbelief. When challenged, you delete the challenge because you have no integrity and you know you don't know the WORD.
You haven't taken the warnings in the Word of God very seriously. You dare to blaspheme Bill Johnson IN YOUR IGNORANCE OF THE WORD OF GOD (I'm CERTAIN your ignorance is so great that you think "blaspheme" applies only to God).yet, when challenged, you don't have the INTEGRITY OR CHARACTER to either answer or examine yourself or your doctrine.
What is it about 1Tim 4:16 that you don't understand?
You're attacking a man of God FROM IGNORANCE AND BRAINWASHING!
If you have enough presumption to speak against a man of God, then why don't you have the honesty and integrity to OBEY THE SCRIPTURES THAT COMMAND YOU TO "in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"
Because you don't know the Word of God well enough to do so! Yet you have the temerity to blaspheme Bill Johnson. GET SAVED!
For you to disagree so strongly with Bill Johnson shows that you don't know the gospel and you therefore certainly don't believe it.
I challenge you to give, here, a detailed account of what the gospel is. I will critique it for you (if you haven't banned me in cowardice) and expose how you do not know the gospel at all and you DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
Let's see if you're man enough to back up your pretentiousness and are willing to demonstrate that you KNOW NOT THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
You know you're so ignorant of the Word of God that you would be UNABLE to defend your NONSENSE and blasphemous attacks on Bill Johnson so you, in ABSOLUTE COWARDICE, deleted my posts exposing your dishonesty and are UNABLE to post a simple explanation of what the Gospel is.
Stay at the racetrack since you're UNQUALIFIED TO ASSESS DOCTRINE.
Look in the mirror and tell yourself the truth before you find God judging you.
The devil likes you. You're his kind of guy. Spiritually deaf & gullible.
Why? You're not. You're not honest and you haven't searched the Scriptures to see if "these things be so" because THEY ARE AND THEY'RE IN SCRIPTURE, but the POWERLESS preacher who taught you, lied to you and you swallowed his lies and now FIGHT THE TRUTH because you DON'T have the character to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES, EXAMINE THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES FOR THE TRUE MEANINGS and so you attack what the Spirit of God bears witness to!
You LIE AGAIN at 3:50. when you quote a Scripture denying the TRUTH Bill Johnson spoke, where you demonstrate that you don't even have the integrity to examine the claim he made which can be READILY confirmed or denied by a Greek dictionary!
You're too dishonest to take the honest route. Instead you "wrest" Scripture as Peter says, by PRETENDING "with you" and "them" in Mk 14:7 refers to Christians, and not to "the poor," which a REPREHENSIBLE reading comprehension.
You're a liar & deceiver. I recognize that term as applying to the devil. At 2:53 you SELECTIVELY chose ONE verse that referenced only sin, but that was dishonest of you because there are more than a half dozen that reveal that Christ "bore our sicknesses" and Scripture says "every fact is to be established in the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses," yet you DIDN'T give "2or3" to support your position. Why?
Once again, you're doing his work in denying the Word of God.
Thank you Lord for a leader, a staff, and a church that values faith, revelation, and the Word combined. Thank you Jesus for the MAGNIFICENT fruit you are producing through this group commited to KINGDOM NOW, and the fullness of the KINGDOM ON EARTH. Jesus, YOU SAID, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give." FINALLY, a KINGDOM CULTURE FULFILLING YOUR MANDATE. GLORY TO GOD!!!!
It is so ironic that Bill Johnson has a great value in building a culture of honor, even to the point of a purposeful honoring of some of his harshest critics. It seems that Bill Johnson's honorable stature just grows and grows as the slime beneath his feet seeks to diminish him. GLORY TO GOD FOR BILL JOHNSON!!! Thank you Lord Jesus for the FLOOD OF ENCOURAGEMENT COMING THROUGH BETHEL!!!!
Bill Johnson is the one exposing false teaching. Bill lives what he preaches and the healings going on at Bethel are NUMEROUS. GLORY TO GOD!!! Bill Johnson is a gift to the church, witnessed by the absolute blessing that is characteristic of his students and those attending the many schools available. It is a miracle explosion and an unleashing of power the church has long awaited. GLORY TO GOD. May the rampant pharaseeism in the church dissipate with an authentic JESUS CULTURE. GLORY!!
This is a GREAT EXAMPLE of the Scripture Twister-False Teacher Mr. Bill Johnson.
The bible tells us that Jesus "He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow."
For you people not familiar with boats, the Stern is the back or AFT of the boat, the bottom of a boat is called the keel. We also read "they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him." Where does Bill get the idea that Jesus was in the bottom of the boat?
Paul's thorn in the flesh was an evil spirit that God allowed to torment him so that his heart would not become proud. It is right there in God's word. Pastor Bill should have known that...
um, I don't go to Bethel, however you do know that every scripture you are quoting up here is just what Pastor Johnson is saying; translated differently. I'm listening to what Pastor Bill is saying from an outward ear and seeing what you are posting (scriptures that try to catch Pastor Bill in some contradictory statement) and I am confused as to why this video even appeared.
Either way, I think we should work on our own salvation and not worry about the so-called heretic teachings of others! k?
@DGray03 No friend. We are to expose those who teach a false gospel because it will lead others astray. It is loving to do this. When we see our sister or brother in err we are to lovingly correct it. It's easy for all of us to be deceived and we have to closely adhere to the Word of God. Also, the bible does tell us that Paul's thorn in the flesh was an evil spirit that God allowed to torment him so that he would not become proud in his heart. Pastor Bill should have known that....
@godschildyes I guess my question is my friend, is...now this may be hard to swallow, but here goes? Could it be that Pastor Johnson misspoke? could it be that he made a mistake? Do mistakes make you a false prophet? What I don't get is when we use the word for some things and for others we don't. There are plenty of things that you don't know, I don't know, Bill Johnson doesn't know, your pastor doesn't know, mine doesn't know. Do we call them false because of it? Or do we build up and inform?
@DGray03 Read what happened in the Bible when teachers and prophets were wrong or made a mistaks. Even 99% right was not enough. But if you were to pay attention to scripture then you would see that everything he says in this video is completely false and deceptive. This is another gospel and should never be treated lightly! This is extremely dangerous and this kind of teaching can lead people into hell. If the word is tainted even a little it is like poison. Many pastors are mistaken.
@godschildyes This is one several of your egregious errors. "In the Bible" should be "The Jewish prophets under the Old Covenant."
That you could not see the ACCURACY of *most* of what Bill said in the video exposes your SWALLOWING THE GARBAGE OF MEN instead of hearing the witness of the Spirit and rightly dividing the word of truth.
It is YOU who is grievously mistaken here. God back to your Bible and REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL AND LEARN THE TRUTH, for you are greatly deceived.
@godschildyes This is not building up in love. This is tearing down a brother. If you wanted to do this in love, youtube of all places is not the way to do so. Especially videos like this. Love is an action and the Holy Spirit (which is love) is the only one that convicts. The way you are naming Pastor Johnson is not in love, it is in conviction and you sir are not the Holy Spirit. So you don't have a right to do so. Yes, speak out against it, however there are ways in which to do it. This isn't
@DGray03 There is a time to build up and a time to tear down. Not man but his message. Exposing is very Biblical and so is firm correction. But not popular in modern Christianity! I think you don't understand that the author of this video does not see Bill as innocent and nor do many others. The word tells us that there will be many wolves in sheep's clothing. Yes, I have every right to speak out about his false teaching. You think this is bad because of how you feel about this man....
@godschildyes "You think this is bad because of how you feel about this man.... "
You're 100% wrong. Not only in that remark either. You're wrong in spirit and you're wrong in your pitifully poor parroting of exegetical nonsense.
You don't hear God or you'd hear wisdom and spiritual understanding through Bill. Is Bill right about everything? Is anyone? Of course not. No man errs not. But Bill knows God and hears God just like I do.
You need to humble yourself and repent for your hard heart.
@DGray03 Today Christians think that if you point out or expose false teaching that you are not being a loving follower of Christ. We don't like this part of the truth. We have become so accustom to the ever so gentle non-offending garbage that is being taught. Hey, even Jesus offended and yes I used Jesus as a comparison. I'd rather not take your advice since you seem to see this man in a false light. This video was very well made and used scripture as back-up. No insults, just truth..
@godschildyes No insults taken, but why are you deleting all the comments that are coming in? They are the truth. Believe me I'm not a person that believes in some soft, non valid type of Christianity. But do we really think that Bill Johnson will react and change to your criticism with this type of video? Seriously, what is your intent...to build up in love? or to tear down with criticism? What would Jesus do? Even when Jesus offended, He Himself built up and didn't tear down. What's yours?
@DGray03 Well first of all, I am not deleting anything! I did not make this video, although I perfectly agree with it's content. This video is to warn others of Bill Johnson, and as I understand it, Bill has been confronted "in Love" many times by many fellow believers from others from various ministries. At this point it is about exposing. Friend, Jesus and John the Baptist did this very thing and yes even Jesus torn down lies and strongholds. This is right...
@godschildyes I said nothing about THEM doing in love, I asked are YOU doing this in love? If yet to expose, what have YOU done to show LOVE to you your brother in Christ? If the answer is nothing, then you haven't done your due diligence as a Christian, friend or brother of Bill Johnson. I'm going to stop replying now, Love you brother/sister (not really sure, I mean its youtube, lol) But I pray you are working in love and demonstrating the characteristics of the true vine (Galatians5:22-23) DG
@DGray03 Read all of your comments again, then read my responses to you! You are talking in circles, basically asking the same question over and over again when I have given the answer over and over. It is good that you will not respond anymore because you will more than likely say the same thing but again....Again, your feelings and comments are based on how you personally feel about Bill and that is why you don't see this as Love. Take care and I'm praying for you brother or sister.
This is a GREAT Video Clip! Good job Illustrating the tangled web of false teachings by Bill Johnson. Bill is like a Spider weaving his web of false teachings hopping to capture more victims.
Jesus certainly was homeless, he chose to be that way when he began his ministry. This is not the same "homeless" as the person we often see panhandling off the freeway. The reason why people cringe at the idea Jesus was homeless and poor is that they are confronted with the luxury and obvious decadence of many church ministries today. JOHNSON IS A FALSE TEACHER, Jesus death was not for poverty, or even healing, it was for SALVATION. Isa 53:4-5 refers to spiritual healing/sin, not the flesh
Oops sorry, I meant to say heal the sick once and cast out devils! Ben, if Christ dwells in you and you have already been made coheirs with Christ, you have the authority and power as well. I can quote Bible many times in this. It's so His Name is glorified
Ben, Jesus said those who believe would heal the sick, preach the gospel, heal the sick, speak in new tongues. I do all of these because I believe his word is True. He gets all the glory!
Jesus said Peace be still, Isaiah says in 53:4 He has borne our infirmities, Go back and read your word and believe it's true, repent of your unbelief and defining God by your limited reasonings based on what you see. Without faith it is impossible to please God Hebrews11:6. Faiths is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Once upon a time there was a dervish. As he was sitting in contemplation, he noticed that there was a sort of devil near him.
The dervish said: 'Why are you sitting there, making no mischief ?'
The demon raised his head wearily.'Since the theoreticians and would-be teachers of the Path have appeared in such numbers, there is nothing left for me to do.'
FYI: Ephesians 1:7 does not say what you posted. I checked many Bible versions.
Additionally, there is more than 1 place where the Bible speaks to healing of sins and sicknesses together...Psalms 103:2-5 is another place that I recall without searching.
@FOMMMorg You serve Jesus in PRETENSE AND NOT IN TRUTH. If you really served Him, you'd KNOW YOUR BROTHERS and YOU'D HEAR THE SPIRIT OF GOD!
You're a pretender with a cold unbelieving heart who doesn't hear God and doesn't know the Word of God.
Since you're so dishonest and cowardly, I'll make it easy for you. Look up the word "shalom" and DISCOVER the depth of meaning and study the Bible and see it's God's gift to us, then look up "sozo" and DISCOVER it's IDENTICAL meaning
all of this to say that there is fulfillment in Christ. but it's not money or power. it's Him. it's simply Him. one who understand sin, and what it brings, and its punishment will find the same fulfillment in Christ.
i don't doubt there are people who attend bethel who love Christ want to serve Him. but their doctrine, at its core, is false on so many levels. if you have any questions about this or think i'm wrong feel free to let me know.
He came to bring the poor, sick, those in mourning, hungry, etc to serve HIM. not to be healed on earth.
this man teaches fulfillment on earth if you follow Christ. THAT'S NOT THE GOSPEL
i don't follow Christ to be fulfilled on earth. I follow Him through love - because i've been forgiven of sin. and if you're reading this, and you follow Jesus, believing you'll obtain earthly happiness, you're wrong.
johnson is deceptive, greedy, and wicked. he's going to hell if he does not repent.
Jesus healed people and preformed miracles for two reasons:
1) to fulfill prophesy
2) to prove to the world that He is God.
as such, God DIED for the sake of sin, and became the propitiation for us. those who are servants of Christ know that to be such is to know, love, and serve Him - not pray for healing/riches/power.
the notion of wanting to serve Christ for any reason other than glorifying Him is self fulfillment.
want to perform miracles? you're serving yourself, not Christ.
the entire church of bethel speaks of self-indulgent glorification through pseudo-spiritual empowerment. their doctrine is to teach the lost that "if you come to Jesus, you will be healed/empowered/rich/famous." THAT'S NOT THE GOSPEL! Jesus was a homeless Jew who died a shameful death to forgive us of SIN, not to empower us, or even to heal us of disease! the gospel (as well as our walk with Christ) is always be about HIM. not US. our lives are for HIM. not US. this man fills me with rage.
No he brings people to satan. Bills idea of God and His teaching are skewed and you need to flee from bill as if your sneakers were on fire. And another guy asks to ask God about this but this video shows what God says in the bible and that is good enough for me but this guys spells God with a small g and that is his god and bills. A god with a small g is not the creator of this world. Please repent and turn to God while you still have time.
@TupacTilliDDie A counterfeit $100 dollar bill will look just like a real authentic $100 dollar bill, but it is counterfeit! it will always be counterfeit, because the person who made the counterfeit bill was hopping to deceive someone into thinking that it is real.
The Devil hates God and will do anything to steel kill and destroy, even looking like a Counterfeit church, the devil will deceive as many people as possible.
To support a heretic like Bill shows an absolute lack of discernment. A pastor in my town calls him a man of God and has sat under Bill teachings. This pastor, if he cannot see through Bills heresy will not see it through even this video.
Before I critiqued/edited this video and watched the original one for the first time was enough to scream that Bill knows not God and is leading many down the wide path. To defend him shows your lack of understanding too.
@FOMMMorg On the contrary, I met the Lord Jesus (who is come in the flesh), at His invitation. He appeared to me and showed me His crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection and told me, "I did it for you because I love you and I want you.
40 years later, I say it's you, rather than Bill who doesn't know God, doesn't hear His voice, and is void of Scriptural and spiritual understanding.
All men and preachers err. Those who err as badly as you are in very poor shape. You need to repent.
this man is one of the deepest men of god i have ever had the pleasure of hearing, and if you are really wanting truth really ask god about this yourself...ask him unbiasedly and he will show you
the folks in the new apostolic reformation are dominionists, and dominionists believe that God lost the title-deed to earth in the garden of Eden to Satan, and the church must rise up, take it back, and put the enemies of God under their feet. This is HERESY!
@1StudentOfLife Keep studying student, because what you are espousing is completely false. The church is taking back what is ALREADY God's. In case you havent noticed, sin entered the world. Your misrepresentation is disgusting and repulsive, and frankly worse than heresy. Again, please utilize that itty bitty ounce of integrity deep down in there under that clown suit and check something out before go about spreading lies.
@1StudentOfLife I guess "adolescent tone" resonated with you for obvious reasons. Do you lack intelligence or are you just to lazy to find out what Bill is saying? You should at least have the decency to find out what someone believes before you slander him. Your ignorance does not equate to Bill's heresy.
@denoinwa I will preach like Paul and Peter did, in fact Jude the apostle John.
John had a real vision in Revelation 1.
Why does the shenanigans coming out of Bethel focus upon a different message? If you can not see that then you need to study the bible without the false teacher telling you what to think.
Oh trust me I have been researching his theology a lot, he is a wolf in thinly veiled sheep's clothing.
@1StudentOfLife Have you read the new testament at all Mr. Bible genius? Do you remember a verse where Jesus says, "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons"? That is not "shenanigans" or a "different message." It is THE BIBLE straight. Peter and Paul BOTH did exactly what Bill is proclaiming. Stop opposing the Holy Spirit and get a clue Mr. blasphemer.
@denoinwa So your agreeing and embracing Bill's heresy?
A am sorry I was hopping you would read all of 1 & 2 Corinthians, 1 & 2 Peter look at What and How they preached, then compare that to the silliness coming out of Bethel like the Gold Glitter, the Spiritual Parenting teaching and practice.
@1StudentOfLife Actually, I am agreeing and embracing the reality of your obscene ignorance. Do you really think people at Bethel walk around calling on the Gold Glitter? Or that Gold Glitter is some kind of pillar to their theology? Have you ever heard of discipleship? You are so far gone from reality its ridiculous.
Where does Bill get this idea that Jesus was living in a kingdom reality, I have meet hippies out in the park that were living in their own kingdom reality.
The major theological problem with Bill Johnson is how he is constantly adding to scripture a prospective that never was mentioned in the text or adding a new meaning that the text does not. Example Bill says "Jesus was sleeping on the bottom of a boat, in the middle of a life threatening storm" Problems with Bill's (Eisegesis) show me a text where Jesus was sleeping on the bottom of a boat? besides, the text says waves were breaking over the boat.
@00Gladiator1 If Jesus was on the bottom of the boat then where was all the water going?According to Bill Jesus would have been all wet.
We read "Mark 4:38 Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion;" (the stern is the back of the boat) Bill is interjecting his own idea's that are not in the scripture!
@00Gladiator1 Great point! Jesus was NOT on the bottom of the boat! Bill is wrong!
Bill claims to be a prophet-of-god and he is wrong, that's all the evidence I need to discount the prophetic credibility of Mr. Bill Johnson, a wolf in sheep's clothing! leading many astray.
@00Gladiator1 Eisegesis, is the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, reading into the text. This is best understood when contrasted with exegesis. While exegesis draws out the meaning from the text, eisegesis occurs when a reader reads his/her interpretation into the text. Eisegesis is regarded as highly subjective. An individual who practices eisegesis is known as an eisegete. The term eisegete is often used in a mildly derogatory fashion
@00Gladiator1 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was on him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED." Isaiah 53:5 There is a MUCH BETTER theological case that Jesus's substitutionary atonement includes PHYSICAL HEALING than not. Regardless, if you had some common sense, you would know that this is a theological disagreement AND NOT GROUNDS to falsely accuse someone of being a false teacher.
@denoinwa Now you are mixing up your words Bill said that Jesus was living in a realm of peace what do you mean by the chastisement of our peace was on him?
Theological fundamental issues like Jesus is God, Jesus is mentioned in Genesis 1.
@denoinwa I am concerned for the lack of reverence that Bill shows for the bible, how he miss-handles the word of God the bible is very dangerous constantly adding to passage a new meaning that the text does not! This is how Bill comes up with rejecting Paul as an apostle yet can call himself an apostle? .
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
Paul is not describing Charlie Sheen but false teachers like Bill Johnson at Bethel Church!
Denoinwa Jesus warns believers of False Teachers. Matt 7 You will recognize them by their fruit! Your not reading your bible and your being swept away with heretical teachings. Johnson rejects the apostle Paul and teaches that Jesus had to be born again Johnson teaches that Jesus became sinful this is downright Hersey!!!!
@denoinwa Be very, very careful in how you toss around your insulting words, stooping to the level of name calling!
You and Bill are making a critical hermetical mistake! you are looking at this verse with a microscope. You have taken it totally out of context! You need to put the fisheye lens on and see this entire chapter and book, look at the full context of the book! It was my sins and your sins that were put on Christ when he was on the cross! Jesus never sinned as Bill teaches
@00Gladiator1 No, there is no context in II Cor 5 that diminishes the reality that HE WHO KNEW NO SIN BECAME SIN on our behalf, which OF COURSE includes yours and mine. Bill Johnson DOES NOT teach that Jesus sinned by will. And no, you shouldnt use scripture to level the lowest of accusations toward someone when you dont even understand what he teaches. And YES, people are actually getting healed at Bethel.... by the scores. You are on the WRONG side of this.
@00Gladiator1 Read Acts 13: 30-34. This passage says explicitly that the reference in Psalm 2:7 stating, "YOU ARE MY SON...TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU" refers to the resurrection. Bill Johnson is only repeating what the scripture says in his own words as "BORN AGAIN." Please do your homework before going about blaspheming good people. You only make yourself look ridiculous.
@denoinwa No back up and read the whole passage of Acts 13 all of it in context. No where is Jesus Born again!
Once again you people are going into the ditch with your eisegesis; "this is the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, ones own agenda, and ones false teachings!"
Please practice good biblical hermeneutics and exegeses; this is a critical explanation or interpretation of a text, in context with the full book that is comes out of.
There is a fundamental ignorance in the body with regard to the extent of the cross and the new covenant in terms of how God deals with humanity. This is the principle difference between those who still believe God relates to people according to Old Testament patterns or according to the New Covenant. I prefer the truth of the New Covenant, thank you.
why would the Lord "give" sickness if He came to make us whole? You wanna take scriptures from an obsolete covenant and forget we are in a greater more glorious and everlasting covenant. Heb 7:22Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. Heb8:6But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises. ppl need to get a clue abt the covenant we have w/ God.
@kingdomanointed Consider this, If Bill Johnson can sit infront of a church congregation and say "I cannot create a theology that allows sickness" Why then does Bill wear glasses? Bill's theology is flawed.
Thank God for Bill Johnson's ministry. Many are getting healed.... MANY. And God's glory is shining radiant!!!! Let the false accusers come forward!!! For every kingdom person doing kingdom acts, there will be many false accusers sent by the enemy to dishonor the work of the Holy Spirit....
@denoinwa Healed or simply recovering? Where is your evidence?
Why then are people per-screened before being allowed to go up front to receive prayer? Questions to a person in a wheel chair like, "can you walk, even for a short distance?" if you reply yes, you are invited up front, if you say no, you are not invited up front but wheeled up close and used as (background for the cameras).
@denoinwa The people who do get invited up front are brought up and prayed for, then they are asked to stand up in front of the congregation, every one is amazed but there is no miracle, just a dog-and-pony show tugging at the emotions of the sick person and the audience.
@00Gladiator1 Bill is addressing the false mentality that sickness comes directly from God. This is not some "clever" distortion. I would be really curious to hear how this is a twisting of scripture. Let's have it.
I have slept in a big rig as it travels over the California Hwy's I-5 and hwy99, now trust me there is no peace on these rough roads, however being tired you can sleep well, strapped into the bunk, with the constant moving of the truck it actually rocks you to sleep!
Bill Johnson is practicing eisegesis, this occurs when a reader reads his/her interpretation into the text.
Bill is a false teacher,
also watch out for Bill's Spiritual Parenting teaching, many lives will get hurt.
Sometimes God does choose not to heal, he by no means causes it though. Its unfair, and judgmental to point the finger at someone who has not been healed and tell them they have lack of faith. Though lack of faith is an epidemic, there are people who have faith and lots of it and stay sick. Just because bill jhonsons says something doesnt make it true. Read the bible for yourself and work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Its the holy spirit that leads us into ALL truth.
jesus cursed 2 different fig trees people often forget, bills had how many hernias repaired? if bill believed he could do the things he claims and his followers like the apostles before him they would sell everything they had and spend their lives moving from childrens hospitals to morgues and healing and raising people from the dead
I can't think of anyone who could be more opposite to a 'false teacher' in any way. Bill is an incredibley wise man who walks with God in his life. I LOVE his teaching! He says it how it is, the good news.
whoever you are that calls this man a false teacher, does not yet understand in what a shallow spirituality you have been walking in. i was in that same place as you for way too many years. its a place of the spirit of phariseeism, where there is very little life and a lot of condemnation, finger pointing, unforgiveness, hatred and internal evil works, masked as "christian", when these are works of our enemy not of CHRIST!
Sickness and healing do go hand in hand. If not, what about when jesus said to sick person, your sins are forgiven, and they were made well? And the Bible says all men have an appointed time to die- that does not mean that God causes death. This is Why Jesus came- to redeem us and defeat the grave!!! And also, if you remember, by His stripes we ARE healed! so sickness is also gone too through an encounter with Jesus.
I don't get the accusations FOMMMorg. Maybe... Maybe... Maybe...
I am not sure that the page-splitting is necessary... Hmmmmmm.... I am not sure that I can believe in Bill Johnson in all that he says but that doesn't make him a heretic to me...
Bill is absolutely counterfeit. That's why the need for such a video. To expose his heretical views. Just a fair warning folks. Thank you for the comments.
When ever any man speaks of their translation or revelation of the bible, chew the meat and spit out the bones. Let the Holy Spirit do His job. True revelations come from you reading your word and God, Himself giving you truth...for you...what you need...your life trials. *just to add... just like you are picking apart every word, study every word in the bible. Most of them don't mean what our brains think they mean. God is so much deeper than us!
HI BROTHER; GLAD TO SEE YOUR SINCERITY IN WANTING TO PROTECT THE TRUTH. GOOD INTENTIONS NEVER SAVED ANYONE. ONLY THE TRUTH. SO I SEE YOUR EFFORTS ARE BASED UPON TRUE SINCERITY AND A GOOD HEART. WITHOUT THE TRUTH, THEIR CANNOT BE A COUNTERFEIT. SATAN CAN ONLY COPY AND TRY TO DUPLICATE THE TRUE. SO THERE IS A TRUE TO EVERYTHING THAT SATAN TRIES TO COUNTERFEIT. SO PLEASE, BE CAREFUL YOU ARE ACCUSING THE COUNTERFEIT AND NOT THE TRUE.
"Does God ever choose not to heal?" Bill Johnson answered NO and I stand by that. Why? Because the type of healing that he is referring to is not the visible physical ailments or anything resulting from sickness or disease, but rather a cleansing of a soul when one comes to realise that they are given clean slate and rebirth into a new life. The death of Christ bought the whole world the biggest healing. What is the point of being complete on the outside when you're broken on the inside?
the fact is that this man is not preaching truth! its right there infront of you, this isnt an issue of differences of interpretation, this is an issue of a man making up things and saying hes got it from the bible, it is an abomination to change what god has ordained to be written and then pretend your words are Gods words!
You guys are amazing , I bet if I broke apart individual sentences from any of you , you would likely sound unbiblical . I think he has better theology on healing and most other topics than can be found in most churches today. I dare you to listen with an open mind & heart to actual full messages he has given , rather than to splice apart his words line by line ! There is nothing dangerous about Bill Johnson, there is something pretty lame about all of you from the Spanish inquisition !
@FOMMMorg You are so right! Bill Johnson's theology is a scam.
Then Moses said to the LORD, “Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” The LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth?
Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Exodus 4:10-11
@ 0:55... I think you are forgetting that Matthew's account and Luke's account only say what he did... Mark on the other hand tells us what is said. Mark 4:39 “Peace, be still!” (in my Bible, thats in red.)
@Manofjune ..In all due respect Jesus did not heal all where ever he went . Matt13:58 we are told "he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. However, in the book of Mark .6:5 Jesus did lay hands on a few sick people and healed them.
Also in John 5:1-15,Jesus did not heal everyone either here.Multitudes were gathered at the pool of Bethsaida, but Jesus picked only one to be healed a blind and lame man and disregarded the rest.
Bill Johnson is talking about Jesus, a totally new covenant. Everyone in this group always preaches from the old testament. Jesus tore the veil, took back the keys, and we can go right into the presence of God now. Why is there so much anger towards him and Joyce meyer, Joel Olsteen...they are helping MILLIONS of people get healed and whole. Love COVERS, not exposes. We are supposed to be one body doing Jesus' will.. I wonder if we came to your house, what mistakes you make Mr. HOLY!!!!!!
@jesusfreakforrealz Mr. Johnson is very clever at how he prefaces his comments, where people are so miss lead is because they are being taught that they are in "a totally new covenant." Yes, different from the one Jesus established! Your right people "in this group always preaches from the old testament" a works-righteous, performance-based faith. They are preaching a new message; convoluted and distorted from nearly 2000 years of orthodox Christian faith.
churches all the time upset and speaking against them. Plus to me that fact that so many in the Church are speaking against, knowing what they stand for, only validates their place for me.
Luke 6:22 Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
So the person who used the Word against Bills teaching, I believe they just through a couple scriptures at it. Rather than digging into these scriptures to see that their just might bet more to them. I believe the fruit of Bethel Church is GOOD. I know so many people including myself that have grown in their relationships with Jesus because of this Church. I do not think just because a couple people left unhappy or didn't agree with them means you can say a place has bad fruit. People leave
I do not believe it is fair to judge someone off a couple youtube videos that are set out to prove someone false. I have seen videos on here, of sound bite of Billy Graham set up to make him look like he didn't believe Christ was the only way. But if you knew him and watched him you would know it that is not true. Not to mention I think Bill is speaking from a study, where if you study the Bible
the greek/hebrew these words mean so much more than what we see.
OFCLREALMINISTRIES Thanks for your response looks like we agree on more than I thought. I do believe in discerning things and testing the sprits. There are many people I have quit listening to because of that. However Bill Johnson and Bethel are not those people. It's not that I am afraid to examine it's that I am SO familiar with Bethel and their teaching that for me I can stand by them in a place of confidence.
I am a bit confused about all of you saying that it's not Biblical. The ONLY examples of what the New Testament believers are like are filled with the POWER of the Spirit. In no place does it say such things seized. The Spirit descended upon the believers, and every time the supernatural came. Where do you all find in the scriptures your example for how to walk with Jesus? The only examples I see walked in the power of the SPIRIT. Not just with words.
Jesus did not look at all like what the people had perceived from reading the scriptures. They condemned Him using the scriptures they had learned. His way are not our ways. You can look at the Word, just as the Jews did and totally miss the manifestation of the word and call it evil. Just as they did Jesus. Be careful that you aren't the one who is truly deceived.
As far as the Spirit pouring out of man. Paul walked places and the presence of God healed those around Him. God is real. He is not just in our minds, He presence can be felt and experienced. It is the best feeling in the world. Warm, peaceful, and Love. In His presence is the fullness of Joy! Pray and ask Him to show you His touch today.
I can say because I know Him, not just in my head, that He is a God of miracles, healing and is still active in those things today through those who believe. What are you all so afraid? What does it mean to you that the very Spirit, the third man of our Trinity God lives inside of us. Don't render Him powerless out of your own Fear.
@MadefortheKing Which by the way, just for the record, I have no fear of His power.....but it sounds like you might have a fear of taking a look at Bill Johnson, this movement, and the like from the lens of others who have that Spirit you referred to, who in all honestly are just trying to protect Christ's true Bride, and truly consider what is being said.
@MadefortheKing Lastly, I don't hate Bill Johnson...but what he is doing is wrong & not biblical, & all one needs to do is truly have eyes to see it through the lends of Scripture, & context of Scripture (equally important) to see that, that is true and accurate...I do not know the person who made this video and honestly I don't agree with all of it, but I do agree with trying to reach out and lead people who being deceived by this movement and at least for now, Bill himself, back to the Truth
I believe God displays miracles more than just to prove himself (as if He needed to). I believe He does them because He is love, and to heal the man who has been full of shame and leprosy his whole life is more than just to prove a point. But to show God's love. Jesus came more than just to get us into heaven but to restore man kind to its original intent . Miracles/love are the gospel without words. I am not chasing miracles. I am madly in love with the person of Jesus!
@MadefortheKing Of course Jesus did His miracles because He had compassion and love for those He did them for...but at the same time read the Scriptures, it is there, in almost every occasion the text clearly says things like "and they believed in Him" or "and many believed" or "they saw their opportunity and preached the Gospel" (Acts 3) I didn't say Jesus was using them to try and prove who He was, I said "in Scripture they were to show and point to the deity of Christ."
@MadefortheKing And in Scripture that is exactly what they did....my point was not to say that God doesn't heal today, as He certainly does, my point was that many who come from this camp DO NOT chase Christ but what Christ can do....(if what is going on in some of these meetings even the Spirit of God) And just to let you know, in one regard you are right, i do have the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, living in me...and that Spirit is not limited to me, you, or even our fears...
Hey guys, what ever you are saying against bill make sure it is the Holy spirit that is prompting you or else the following scripture might be referring to you: Acts 7: 51 “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! 52 Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— .....
I am praying that Bill and those from this camp truly do come to genuine Biblical Repentance, but honestly, I am more concerned for and prayerful for those they are leading and have lead astray, which unfortunately is sooooo many young people from this generation.... I am prayerful that a true prophet of the Lord will be raised up right in Bethel's midst and call this and Bill out, face to face....
2. They usually do promote very experiential highs and encounters with the "spirit", but while there may be things happening, even miracles, that spirit is certainly not the Holy one, because the Holy Spirit doesn't give us experiences that DO NOT line up with His Word, as I stated before....
@OFCLREALMinistries I agree with what you say about people in this ministry seeming to chase miracles, or even just experiences, feelings & highs. Not Jesus himself. Or at least that's what it seems like to me. (Disclaimer: I do believe in gifts of the Spirit, healing, etc. I have experienced & love the Prescence of God. And all I've ever known as a Christian has been "Spirit-filled.")...I come from a ministry that's developed a friendship with Bethel so I am familiar with them.I have friends...
@OFCLREALMinistries ...who are very into them & their teaching, even attending their School of Supernatural Ministry. This greatly concerns me, though in my ministry it's almost become like you dare not speak a word against them because you'll greatly offend (my friends) and though they wouldn't say it, be judged as being "religious." (They love to throw that one & something about "a religious spirit" around concerning Christians who question or are uncomfortable with what they do.) I was esp...
@OFCLREALMinistries ...hesitant to speak up b/c for a long time I couldn't pinpoint what about them didn't sit well with me, but I've had a VERY uneasy feeling about them from day one. Now I'm able to articulate it better. Chasing experiences. Some of their theology I don't agree with (though it may not go so far as being heretical or a false teaching, I'm not sure). Also there's this:I feel like they talk so much about love, but I don't see much true love in them or fruit of godly character...
@OFCLREALMinistries ...(in general with those I've encountered). Then there are specific experiences I've had with them that aren't generalizable and may just be that person and not representative of the whole. Like when someone from Bethel doing an event for us, in my estimation, was trying to cause people to get "drunk in the Spirit." She told us to say "Hee hee hee, ha ha ha, ho ho ho" over and over again...It didn't work. But still unsettling. And for what it's worth, this was largely a room..
A few things about false teachers is 1: (and this important) They aren't always false otherwise they wouldn't be so deceptive...but as this video shows they will eventually show their true colors...and that is basically, they create a Jesus in their own image and are essentially just worshiping themselves, and then lead others to worship that same "jesus" which is either teaching them to worship and create jesus into whatever they want, or teach them to worship them. (More above)
All the people who seem to come from this camp, and those who chase miracles and the like.....try to defend their views based on their experiences with "god" or what a sly speaking guy like Bill Johnson communicates... We should desire encounters and experiences with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but we must ALWAYS make sure they line up with Scripture.....and the stuff Bill teaches and promotes and what is happening at Bethel just doesn't....at all....and it is not even debatable....sorry.
Where in the Bible does it say, "You can only give away what you have."? Answer: it doesn't, Bill made that up to fit into his twisted theology. He's a false teacher.
Acts 7: 51 “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! 52 Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— .....
Bill Johnson is a Father in the faith! The Spirit of God pours out from him. I have been so blessed by his life, and his faithfulness to God and his faith in God's love! Stephen drives it home in Acts 7. He was a man FULL of the Spirit who performed many miracles
@MadefortheKing What does, "The Spirit of God pours out from him" mean? He's a wolf and needs to repent. He's made a god to suit his liking and it's not the God of the Bible. I love him enough to warn him.
@MadefortheKing Every time miracles were performed in Scripture they were to show & point to the deity of Christ, & have a chance to proclaim His Gospel to the lost so that they might come to repentance and faith I Jesus....they were NEVER for the things Bill and people from that camp say they were...Even Lazarus died again..."miracles" are not Salvation & they are not the Gospel that saves...stop chasing the miracles and chase Jesus friend. Psalm 73:25-26...He is the reward not the miracels...
I find it funny..everyone is quick to say he is a false and they are false but when they look in the mirror they think they are a gift from God. Grow up. God will show who is fake and who is not fake. It's about relationship and not RELIGION...

I challenged you. BE A MAN!

Stay at the racetrack since you're UNQUALIFIED TO ASSESS DOCTRINE.

Why?
You and the devil!

The devil is pleased!

Your conscience is DEFECTIVE.

DGray03 1 week ago

No insults, just truth..
godschildyes 1 week ago
@godschildyes No insults taken, but why are you deleting all the comments that are coming in? They are the truth. Believe me I'm not a person that believes in some soft, non valid type of Christianity. But do we really think that Bill Johnson will react and change to your criticism with this type of video? Seriously, what is your intent...to build up in love? or to tear down with criticism? What would Jesus do? Even when Jesus offended, He Himself built up and didn't tear down. What's yours?
DGray03 3 days ago
@DGray03 Well first of all, I am not deleting anything! I did not make this video, although I perfectly agree with it's content. This video is to warn others of Bill Johnson, and as I understand it, Bill has been confronted "in Love" many times by many fellow believers from others from various ministries. At this point it is about exposing. Friend, Jesus and John the Baptist did this very thing and yes even Jesus torn down lies and strongholds. This is right...
godschildyes 2 days ago

Isa 53:4-5 refers to spiritual healing/sin, not the flesh

all of this to say that there is fulfillment in Christ. but it's not money or power. it's Him. it's simply Him. one who understand sin, and what it brings, and its punishment will find the same fulfillment in Christ.
i don't doubt there are people who attend bethel who love Christ want to serve Him. but their doctrine, at its core, is false on so many levels. if you have any questions about this or think i'm wrong feel free to let me know.
i'm just outraged this wolf has such a following

He came to bring the poor, sick, those in mourning, hungry, etc to serve HIM. not to be healed on earth.
this man teaches fulfillment on earth if you follow Christ. THAT'S NOT THE GOSPEL
i don't follow Christ to be fulfilled on earth. I follow Him through love - because i've been forgiven of sin. and if you're reading this, and you follow Jesus, believing you'll obtain earthly happiness, you're wrong.
johnson is deceptive, greedy, and wicked. he's going to hell if he does not repent.
BenTheFierceDragon 1 month ago
Jesus healed people and preformed miracles for two reasons:
1) to fulfill prophesy
2) to prove to the world that He is God.
as such, God DIED for the sake of sin, and became the propitiation for us. those who are servants of Christ know that to be such is to know, love, and serve Him - not pray for healing/riches/power.
the notion of wanting to serve Christ for any reason other than glorifying Him is self fulfillment.
want to perform miracles? you're serving yourself, not Christ.
BenTheFierceDragon 1 month ago
the entire church of bethel speaks of self-indulgent glorification through pseudo-spiritual empowerment. their doctrine is to teach the lost that "if you come to Jesus, you will be healed/empowered/rich/famous." THAT'S NOT THE GOSPEL!

@1StudentOfLife I guess "adolescent tone" resonated with you for obvious reasons. Do you lack intelligence or are you just to lazy to find out what Bill is saying? You should at least have the decency to find out what someone believes before you slander him. Your ignorance does not equate to Bill's heresy.
denoinwa 1 month ago
@denoinwa I will preach like Paul and Peter did, in fact Jude the apostle John.
John had a real vision in Revelation 1.
Why does the shenanigans coming out of Bethel focus upon a different message? If you can not see that then you need to study the bible without the false teacher telling you what to think.
Oh trust me I have been researching his theology a lot, he is a wolf in thinly veiled sheep's clothing.
1StudentOfLife 1 month ago
@1StudentOfLife Have you read the new testament at all Mr. Bible genius? Do you remember a verse where Jesus says, "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons"? That is not "shenanigans" or a "different message." It is THE BIBLE straight. Peter and Paul BOTH did exactly what Bill is proclaiming. Stop opposing the Holy Spirit and get a clue Mr. blasphemer.

Where does Bill get this idea that Jesus was living in a kingdom reality, I have meet hippies out in the park that were living in their own kingdom reality.
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
The major theological problem with Bill Johnson is how he is constantly adding to scripture a prospective that never was mentioned in the text or adding a new meaning that the text does not. Example Bill says "Jesus was sleeping on the bottom of a boat, in the middle of a life threatening storm" Problems with Bill's (Eisegesis) show me a text where Jesus was sleeping on the bottom of a boat? besides, the text says waves were breaking over the boat.
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 If Jesus was on the bottom of the boat then where was all the water going?According to Bill Jesus would have been all wet.
We read "Mark 4:38 Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion;" (the stern is the back of the boat) Bill is interjecting his own idea's that are not in the scripture!
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 Great point! Jesus was NOT on the bottom of the boat! Bill is wrong!
Bill claims to be a prophet-of-god and he is wrong, that's all the evidence I need to discount the prophetic credibility of Mr. Bill Johnson, a wolf in sheep's clothing! leading many astray.
1StudentOfLife 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 Eisegesis, is the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, reading into the text. This is best understood when contrasted with exegesis. While exegesis draws out the meaning from the text, eisegesis occurs when a reader reads his/her interpretation into the text. Eisegesis is regarded as highly subjective. An individual who practices eisegesis is known as an eisegete. The term eisegete is often used in a mildly derogatory fashion
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
Bill says he can not create a theology that allows sickness". IS Bill fashioning for himself a god to suite himself? What is Bill following?
God does allow sickness and God can heal.
"The LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?" Exodus 4:11

Regardless, if you had some common sense, you would know that this is a theological disagreement AND NOT GROUNDS to falsely accuse someone of being a false teacher.
denoinwa 2 months ago
@denoinwa Now you are mixing up your words Bill said that Jesus was living in a realm of peace what do you mean by the chastisement of our peace was on him?
Theological fundamental issues like Jesus is God, Jesus is mentioned in Genesis 1.
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@denoinwa I am concerned for the lack of reverence that Bill shows for the bible, how he miss-handles the word of God the bible is very dangerous constantly adding to passage a new meaning that the text does not! This is how Bill comes up with rejecting Paul as an apostle yet can call himself an apostle? .

00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 Why are you so ignorant? The Bible teaches that JESUS BECAME SIN (II Cor 5:21). The false teacher would be YOU.
denoinwa 2 months ago
@denoinwa Be very, very careful in how you toss around your insulting words, stooping to the level of name calling!
You and Bill are making a critical hermetical mistake! you are looking at this verse with a microscope. You have taken it totally out of context! You need to put the fisheye lens on and see this entire chapter and book, look at the full context of the book! It was my sins and your sins that were put on Christ when he was on the cross! Jesus never sinned as Bill teaches
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 No, there is no context in II Cor 5 that diminishes the reality that HE WHO KNEW NO SIN BECAME SIN on our behalf, which OF COURSE includes yours and mine. Bill Johnson DOES NOT teach that Jesus sinned by will. And no, you shouldnt use scripture to level the lowest of accusations toward someone when you dont even understand what he teaches. And YES, people are actually getting healed at Bethel.... by the scores. You are on the WRONG side of this.
denoinwa 2 months ago
@denoinwa Bill Teaches that Jesus was and became sin, Bill also teaches Jesus was born again! That is heresy in the first degree!
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@00Gladiator1 Read Acts 13: 30-34. This passage says explicitly that the reference in Psalm 2:7 stating, "YOU ARE MY SON...TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU" refers to the resurrection. Bill Johnson is only repeating what the scripture says in his own words as "BORN AGAIN." Please do your homework before going about blaspheming good people. You only make yourself look ridiculous.
denoinwa 2 months ago
@denoinwa No back up and read the whole passage of Acts 13 all of it in context. No where is Jesus Born again!
Once again you people are going into the ditch with your eisegesis; "this is the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, ones own agenda, and ones false teachings!"
Please practice good biblical hermeneutics and exegeses; this is a critical explanation or interpretation of a text, in context with the full book that is comes out of.
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
There is a fundamental ignorance in the body with regard to the extent of the cross and the new covenant in terms of how God deals with humanity. This is the principle difference between those who still believe God relates to people according to Old Testament patterns or according to the New Covenant. I prefer the truth of the New Covenant, thank you.

why would the Lord "give" sickness if He came to make us whole? You wanna take scriptures from an obsolete covenant and forget we are in a greater more glorious and everlasting covenant.
00Gladiator1 2 months ago
@denoinwa The people who do get invited up front are brought up and prayed for, then they are asked to stand up in front of the congregation, every one is amazed but there is no miracle, just a dog-and-pony show tugging at the emotions of the sick person and the audience.

Bill you are very clever with your choice of words, you said; "God can not give away sickness" very clever, but you are twisting scripture here!

AMDpc067 2 months ago
Sometimes God does choose not to heal, he by no means causes it though. Its unfair, and judgmental to point the finger at someone who has not been healed and tell them they have lack of faith. Though lack of faith is an epidemic, there are people who have faith and lots of it and stay sick. Just because bill jhonsons says something doesnt make it true. Sickness and healing do go hand in hand. If not, what about when jesus said to sick person, your sins are forgiven, and they were made well? And the Bible says all men have an appointed time to die- that does not mean that God causes death. This is Why Jesus came- to redeem us and defeat the grave!!!

Woe to you when all men speak well of you,
for that is how their fathers treated the false

Are you being persecuted for your walk with Jesus? Or does everyone love you? Or are you persecuting those who truly believe?
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
churches all the time upset and speaking against them.

MadefortheKing 6 months ago
OFCLREALMINISTRIES Thanks for your response looks like we agree on more than I thought. I do believe in discerning things and testing the sprits. There are many people I have quit listening to because of that. However Bill Johnson and Bethel are not those people. It's not that I am afraid to examine it's that I am SO familiar with Bethel and their teaching that for me I can stand by them in a place of confidence.
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
I am a bit confused about all of you saying that it's not Biblical. The ONLY examples of what the New Testament believers are like are filled with the POWER of the Spirit. In no place does it say such things seized. The Spirit descended upon the believers, and every time the supernatural came. Where do you all find in the scriptures your example for how to walk with Jesus? The only examples I see walked in the power of the SPIRIT. Not just with words.
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
Jesus did not look at all like what the people had perceived from reading the scriptures. They condemned Him using the scriptures they had learned. His way are not our ways. You can look at the Word, just as the Jews did and totally miss the manifestation of the word and call it evil. Just as they did Jesus. Be careful that you aren't the one who is truly deceived.
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
As far as the Spirit pouring out of man. Paul walked places and the presence of God healed those around Him. God is real. He is not just in our minds, He presence can be felt and experienced. It is the best feeling in the world. Warm, peaceful, and Love. In His presence is the fullness of Joy! Pray and ask Him to show you His touch today.
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
I can say because I know Him, not just in my head, that He is a God of miracles, healing and is still active in those things today through those who believe. What are you all so afraid? What does it mean to you that the very Spirit, the third man of our Trinity God lives inside of us. Don't render Him powerless out of your own Fear.
MadefortheKing 6 months ago
@MadefortheKing Which by the way, just for the record, I have no fear of His power.....but it sounds like you might have a fear of taking a look at Bill Johnson, this movement, and the like from the lens of others who have that Spirit you referred to, who in all honestly are just trying to protect Christ's true Bride, and truly consider what is being said.
OFCLREALMinistries 6 months ago
