actually, it's form the first Fire Emblem game (where Mars comes form). they just use it in SSBM for the Fire Emblem characters. It is the main theme for Fire Emblem and is present in all of the Fire Emblem games (there are 10 so far, with the 11th being a remake of the third game).

Don't forget when Melee came out and America was introduce to Fire Emblem the Fire Emblem franchise became really popular in America thanks to Marth and Roy.

It was actually very popular over here due to the fan translation of Seisen no Keifu (arguably the most popular of the FE games). after FE7 and SSBM came out, more people heard about it. If it was just the GBA games, it would have done very poorly over here (they are the worst in the series). SSBM helped the popularity, but it wasn't because of them that it became popular.

FE 6 and 7 are the same continent, but there is nothing official that says they are the same world, 8 is by itself, and 9 and 10 are together (but again nothing official to tie them to the same world).

If his Strength is a problem, be ready to give him a Strength Ring. Of course, in FE1, don't worry about it too much; his primary job is to take the thrones and kill Medeus, whose Fight Speed is NIL, plus if he needs extra leveling up when you're in Chapter 24 and 25, you can use the Falchion on lesser enemies because of the reasons that make it broken in FE1. (Providing you get it, of course....scratch that. You really should get it anyway.)

an neat as that would be, probably not. if they were going to make another FE anime, then they would have done so with the most popular of all the FE games, siesen no Keffu. given that FE4 was only made into a TCG and not an anime, probably means that they won't make FE6 into an anime. though there is a possibility for FE 9/10 given it's popularity in the US and Japan.
