I don't know how old you are but you look so good. I hope I look like that when I have "mature" skin. My skin doesn't look that good and I am only 24. lol
@Michiganette Yes, I do. I use the Kiehls eye makeup remover for my eyes and use the Dermalogica I mentioned here for my face. I have also tried the Neutragena wipes and they work for me as well. Hope that helps...
I use Dari Natural's Skin care products and so far I find it the best! Because it really works for my sensitive skin. Their products are made from unrefined shea butter, pure olive oil, castor oil, jojoba, calendula and chamomile. It feels amazing on the skin! They make all natural body washes, facial cleansers, lotions, creams and body butters. I love using their body lotion, especially after shaving, because that's the only brand that doesn't cause any irritation.
ohh ok...I went for a consultation and they said I have oily t zone but dehydrated skin with enlarged pores, they mentioned the ultra calming barrier or serum..but I dont know how heavy that is...They said exfoliation is number 1 thing to do, and the daily exfoliant is the best as i want to even the skin tone and help acne areas. They really didnt mention what I can do for the oily enlarged pores areas...I was thinking of buying my own 40% lactic acid peel to do at home.. thanks alot
hi there.. I have comb skin..sensitive, enlarged pores hormonal acne but dry in areas..we get really cold here in winter,,would you say that can be heavy for my skin type if I get oily in the t zone? I find I still get a bit oily in those areas as the day goes on in the winter..ill probably have to see a skin specialist for the brand,,the daily cleanser looks great! I have to try that..thanks!
@Danniekitten Yes, I think it would be too heavy for you. You may want to try skin care that is formulated for combination to oily skin. Hope that helps.
This is a really good video. I'm thinking of using dermalogica so this was super helpful. Thanks for the tip about khiels. A creamy eye makeup remover sounds so much better than a liquid
@itismebutterfly the apricot scrub isn't good for your face. It's literally crushed up apricot seed and it's definitely too rough. It strips your skin and scratches it. It's better for the heels of your feet =)
I have the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant , do i only use it in the mornings or day and night ? Because it doesn't say but the skin smoothing cream does .
Ooh, I accidentally posted that. I have a dry skin and acne. I was wondering if you think the essential solution would be just as good. I'm 25 and have been trying everything that I can for my skin. I recently did two chemical peels and microdermabrasion. My esthetician recommended PCA skin, which I didn't care for because the moisturizers weren't working at all.
@Timscleite Hi, Usually they say to use a gel for acne, but since you have dry skin, too - you could try it. It is usually for normal to dry skin. Maybe you could alternate between a gel one night and the essential the next night. Sorry I didn't help too much :-)
@TheRiteshpindora1 Hi and thank you so much for the comment. I have been recently buying Dermalogica from Ulta or a salon, but I have bought from ebay in the past. i would look for someone who has a high rating that has sold a lot of products and maybe has an ebay store. Good luck!
Hi, I always have comb & dry skin but deveoped into senstive this year as well. I started using Dermalogica Ultra-calming cleanser and soothing spray but I use Netrogena deep clean lotion to remove the makeup first. I wonder what I should use for removal makeup as I find the Netrogena a little dry for me and hope to stick to Dermalogica products. Your advice will be appreciated.
@lamma511hk Hi, i have used the Kiehl's gentle eye makeup remover for years and love it! it's creamy and very gentle and it's about $16. I think you will like this. How is the Ultra-calming cleanser?
@thehipchickonline Thanks so much for the reply. The Kieh's gentle eye makeup remover is already added to my shopping list. Due to stress from work, my skin has been very sensitive this year so that I am really careful what I use. The Ultra-calming cleanser is very gently and I like it so far. I use it at night. When I first started having pro with the skin, my dr gave me Physiogel cleanser to wash my face. It is soap free, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. I love it and use it the morning.
You are very pretty! I hope when I become a wife/mom I am as cute/stylish/young looking as you!
Have you ever done a what's in your purse video? Those are fun too! You can definitely tell who the Sephora girls are because they have a lot of the yummy trial size products in their purse that you pick up as you are checking out in line!
I have the same type skin and I love the Peter Thomas Roth ultra lite 30 spf sunscreen. I used that every day this summer. Not sure it is moisturizing enough in the winter though....In the winter, I love the Dermalogica skin smoothing cream, but it does not contain an spf. Hope that helps!
Hi. I have dry and sensitive skin. What moisturizer with SPF do u recommend? i am using the Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 moisturizer but I find it still burns my face unles I put a lot of cream on before it. Thanks
@Starsshine38 Thank you! I would try something with glycolic acid or another AHA to help lessen the look of wrinkles on the forehead. Or if you want them to disappear, mabye botox?? A friend of mine did on her forehead and it looks great, but her eyebrows don't move too much :-)
Kim I really enjoy your videos. Like Lisa Lisa and Elaine, you have a great tone about you! I am torn between Skinceuticals and Dermatoligica stuff. I do love the Daily Microfoliant. I also want to check out Retin A. I have been through chemotherapy so my skin needs TLC but I am in my late 40's so I need to start with the AHA's. Have you ever used skinceutical serums? Take care, Liz
@4eab Hi Liz, thanks for the nice comments! I've been using dermalogica for about 8 years and love it, my esthetician says that Dermalogica is fine to use but I should start thinking about using the AHAs b/c those get deeper into the skin or past that first layer. I have never used Skinceuticals, but I am trying Image Skincare total eye lift which has retinol in it. So far I like it.
Great vid! I used dermalogica for years, still use active moist, love it and the intensive eye repair but the cleansers and toners etc don't seem to do anything for me anymore. So I'm trying new products at the moment, and WOW it can get expensive!
Great vid! I'm due for a skincare overhaul--I've been using the African Black soap--love it, but it's a little strong for every day--I'll go get a facial and start from there! Thanks, Kim! xoxo Lisa
@LisaLisaD1 I've never tried that black soap. Sometimes soaps really dry me out. If you've never had microderm - you should try it. There are no chemicals and your skin feels super soft after. :-)
Did you chose this brand on your own or just stumbled upon it. Yes pls do let us know wbaout the eye cream..I am not 20 anymore..wish I was..but looking for some good products. I have been using the Mario Bedesco Line and loving the Bee Pollen night mositurizer...but willing to try something new. I also was using the Avon Renew Glycolic pads...stop using that for a while. have u tried the Khiel's eye cream? Thanks for sharing your skin care regime..u do have gorgeous skin.
@MoiraS63 Hi Moira, I had a facial about 9 years ago and they used Dermalogica and I've been using it ever since. Some of the perfumes in the department store brands don't work for me. I was told to start anything with glycolic or AHAs every other day until your skin gets used to it. Maybe you could try that with the Avon. I haven't tried Khiels eye cream. Which one do you use? I love Khiels though! Thanks for watching and commenting. So fun to share ideas with other people :-)
