I saw Michael Harris back in '95 in TX. He rocked. I met him and even transcribed his song "Through The Eyes of Eternity." It's floating on the internet somewhere; I believe it lacks some of the solos.

1st Harris song is Julius Seziure from Ego Decimation Profile. You miss the brilliant clean jazz breaks in this clip. His playing goes far beyond fast and clean; very unique and expressive phrasing. Ck out Thought Chamber, MH's vocal prog band. Made Mike Portnoy's top 20. Harris has a huge catalog of progressive guitar albums that feature intricate and captivating songs, not just blowin' 64th notes over monotony. I read that a hard jazz/rock fusion instrumental is on the way. Can't wait..

Michael Harris is da man! Nobody combines Progressive Metal and Classical music as well as he can. You can hear every nuance of his classical training coming through. He's not just speed and hammering, he's melodic, tasteful, and the best of this breed of guitarist. IMHO, of course. :)
