you don't have to have an "A" game to play there. i played there, there are normal people, but there are good people there, depending on the day and the time. pay attention to who's sitting down watching you tho, it might be someone you know. if you want to sharpen your skills heck yeah, play there. I saw dennis rodman there once about 9 years ago.

i have played on the court over 50 times in my life and only lost about 17 times and when they say you gotta bring your A+++++ game thats what you gotta bring cause as soon as you lose have fun tryna get back on you better walk off to the little courts and get a game of 21 or some shit... they're about 2 other known courts that i wanna play 1. is in NY, 2 is the one in Chi-Town but i think VB court is the most known in the US

i ball out in venice every so often....nd i can honestly say there is always good competition there. However, when the real ball players show up, those who can dunk easily with no problem, the game is over. there are alot of people there that play on a whole different, almost semi pro level, of basketball.

Well they almost did a convincing job of editing that down to a conglomeration that might make you think the venice beach courts require a high skill level. It's a beautiful court right on the beach and it's one of my favorite places to play, but the notion that there is an "A game" prerequisite is laughable.
