The dancing at :13-:14 reminds me very strongly of Tori Amos in her video for her song "God." I know Jennifer likes Tori, I wonder if this is just a coincidence, or if she was giving Tori a shout out. Also, I keep thinking about Tori's "Precious Things" : "In my peach party dress, no one dared, no one cared to tell me where the pretty girls are, those demigods..."

I wonder if that inspired this song at all?

I am not sure... we will have to ask Jenn... I will see what I can find out. Jenn's sister choreographed the dance sequence to cut with the guitar solo... and we found that that cut very nicely with the daytime footage of the "pretty girls".
