Dave? Phrygien or Lydian mode?... The chord progression is [Amin7 G7] [Fmaj7] I think is lydien if we resolve on FMaj7.
But if we resolve on E/Amin7 maybe is phrygien?

I agree with Arrow9100kj this is phrygian not lydian. Your chord progression should start with F to make it lydian. Great licks Dave

This is a really nice lick! But the tonality doesnt feel very Lydian esque. The riff has a very exotic feel to it, kinda Phrygian-ish =/. Anyway, theory aside, great lick. I like how ur teaching musicality to those who are stuggling with it. Keep up the great work with these videos =D!
