And I am encouraged that other people also think that the GAD series of Guild guitars are really good. I live in Japan but bought my Guild in Maryville, Tennessee-guitar prices in Japan are awful. However, due to the yen/dollar rate change recently, I noticed just yesterday that quite a few GAD Guilds are on sale in Osaka for very reasonable prices.
I prefer finger picking like yours for a solo performance of this song - even though Cat Stevens strums it.
I heard one of those GAD 30's in a shop and they really have nice tone seperation on the treble.
I have played guitars in shops a few times that are 1500 - 1700 that still don't sound as good as the GAD series. It seems like you would have to spend double or more to get anything that sounded even remotely better. They are worth checking out!

I'm glad you enjoy my version. The Guild I am using is a GAD-JF30. It is a jumbo style guitar with a maple body.
