The costumes, fabrics, styling and photography all remind me of Indian films of a certain period, such as "Anarkali", as does the music, while Nagwa's dancing fuses Oriental/orientalist influences, Egyptian elegance and her own unmistakeable style and fun personality which found such wide audiences in both East and West.
