This type of information should be taught in all public schools because it is real American History. Also, if a true timeline between the time that Blacks set foot in America until today was taught, people wouldn't make so many ingnorant ass comments about Blacks that I see on posts and blogs.
a nice story and i am glad that white folks got it on film. but they will never in my life time or the next understand the story. but I must say most of the people in the southern part of the south that own slaves were Jews and nobody seen to know the truth and that ok because they are right! thank .
If you read the History of this country, all that is written about in Moyers book is indirectly evident. I'm not surprised because I've done my own research and continually do research about African American life in America. On another note, God has taught me alot. From the Adam and Eve story, he has shown me the power of causes and effects. WE are descended of Adam and Eve and are still paying for their ill decisions i.e. sin and death. Slavery still destroys African American life.
