I know you probably already know this by now but it pains me to have someone (namely you) complain about glitches in the game when the fault rests entirely upon them. Did you notice that when you were selecting the other missions and scrolling through them it said "show on map" but what you didn't realize is that you never scrolled through the missions when you were selecting the one you wanted? Please, stop blaming the game for your own faults. This isn't trolling, it's protecting Skyrim's rep.

Some info on Lydia:

If the Dragonborn and Lydia part ways, she returns to Dragonsreach, or if you have purchased Breezehome in Whiterun, she will go there instead. If enough time was spent with her, she gifts the Dragonborn with an item upon reuniting with her.

Lydia, like most followers also has the option of being recruited into The Blades, by bringing her to Delphine at Sky Haven Temple after the quest Alduin's Wall is completed. She can still be recruited as a follower as normally.

Please rydar when your fighting alone like that and running low on magika just use that first fire attack you got cause its damage is upgraded and it uses very little magika :), but good work and keep it up

that's why i would advise you to take a make as help in stead of Lydia, so you could close range with fireballs and stuff and maybe the mage will even heal you, just proposing..

If you get irritated on these things how do you get trough games that requires these kind of puzzles in everywhere you go? Or are you one of these guys who can only go around smashing things up? For one I really enjoy the lock picking mini-games, I find that they are nice touch to the game. There is a perk that makes your lock-picks unbreakable I believe.

Also i would advise not becoming a werewolf on this character because you have such low health and stamina so you will only have 200 hp in wolf form and get destroyed when you get into melee range at this level at least.
