hey i have the nikon s210 like for 2 years already and it has worked perfect, but what u said about the charger... i think they did it like that because something i don't know but this is a great camera :)

I bought the same camera at on the same day at the same place. I returned it because I didn't like the video quality when you zoom in and the flash isn't that powerful

I have this s210 coolpix, I Liked it, but havent used any cannon, agreed it is grainy on video and pics but that hasnt effected the enjoyment of having a way to remember or capturing the moments. anyways Glad that people make these vids for public domain. Thanks for your review.LOL saw your next vid to. maybe you should used it as a response for this one (pictures grainy in lo light)

the pictures were not as crisp and clear as the canon, the video does have sound and is decent but the lower lighting vids for me seemed grainy.  The canon although a bit more expensive gives me clean crisp pics and vids. I shoot all my reviews (with the exception of apps) with the canon.

1) all in all would u recomend this camera.

2) when u uploaded them to a computer do the pictures get more crisp? (my friend told me they do)

3)if u were to suggest a canon camera that is sleek, thin, and stylish, what would u recomend?

would i recommend it? well its a decent camera for the price point. Would i recommend it for myself? no will it take decent pics? sure do the get more crisp when uploaded? not sure but when I have them printed out they don't look as good as the canon. I would recommend anything canon makes I use the SD790IS but a lower price point camera from canon will also work. I bought my canon at christmas for about $189 so I'm sure they have gone down since then.

i have this camera and when i dont have flash on, most of my pictures come out blurry. is there anything that i could do to fix that? and is that normal for it to happen or is something wrong with my camera?

I really hope you'll be satisfied with this model as I just bought one of these last weekend. I'm sure you will, ou say this is the first Nikon you've got, You'll be pleasantly surprised with the lense! A wal mart associate told me they made the best too.

It's just my intial views and opinions. The fact that I have had Canons in the past probably lends to the fact that I lean towards Canons, no doubt about that. I do not work for Canon but I do prefer them better.  Reviews are not scientific they are opinions. I'm sure Nikon makes a good higher end product just don't like this one. Sorry if I offended you.

Now I don't want to burst your bubble but keep in mind I have been a canon user for about 10 yrs. I was not that thrilled with the quality of the photos. I took some at the Jets-49ers game in SF & they seemed to be overexposed. The faces were pretty washed out. Unless you have your heart set on this unit I would opt for the canon sd1100 or the sd790. If they are compareable in price I would go with the 790 because it has a 3" screen as opposed to a 2.5" screen. .

If you do some shopping you can find the sd790 for about $180 on Amazon and $229 in retail whereas the sd1100 is about $150 on Amazon and $190 in retail. Hope that helps
