  • you maniacs , you're ridin' on the wrong side of the road

  • how much did you pay the guy to slob like that? lol

  • Is that a screw driver stuck in the dash?

  • i think they went over the speed limit just a bit but hey who am i to argue

  • im bout to get one for 12k!

  • Not only do I want this bike. But I want to become experienced enough to push it to its limits.

  • For The Sound Go to 6:08 :D

  • Got one of these. It's truly awesome!

  • my dream bike.

  • Best place to test down the GOR.

  • The Desmo's may be powerful but they are expensive to maintain

  • Nevertheless, they're fantastic machines.

  • There is no replacement for displacement that's why Ducati has more WSB titles and the rules are in Ducati's favor, hence they win. But, in Moto GP where it's even Ducati is behind, way behind the Japanese manufactures.

  • What great commentary, you must be Aussie.

  • 02:31 What the hell "Motorcycle pornography" and that guy at 03:52 LOL!

  • hahaha best review ever

  • One reason ducati is better is because its 3X as expensive as its japanese competitors. SO i'd say for the value its worse! But i still love ducati and would love to own one. I'm happy with my ninja for now.

  • @gorillagirlgorilla what are you talking about? ducati's are not 3X as expensive. Slightly more expensive? Yes, due to the fact that they're a small company as opposed to the japanese companies but not 3X as much.

  • @gorillagirlgorilla wat???? O.o

  • @gorillagirlgorilla How does making it better by being 3x as expensive? I would say you get what you pay for, but you even say for the value it's worse.

  • @gorillagirlgorilla They are not comparing the stock bikes that we buy, they were comparing the race bikes and for that the jap companies have a bigger budget.

  • Ducati forever!!!

  • @redman666ify its same size engine

  • @21scuderia no its not thats why one is a 1098 and the other is 1198

  • @21scuderia no its not

  • whats the difference between the 1098r and the 1198r or s?

  • Ducati's entire lineup is looking more appealing as the Japanese bikes creep up in price as well. A 2011 Yamaha R1 is what, like 14K now? For a street bike, I'd probably be looking at a Ducati 848 EVO over any of the liter bikes. The service intervals are also more reasonable these days as well.

  • amazing bike , amazing looks BUT i dont like the sound of ducatis

  • i could easily cum for this bike

  • i WOULD PANIC DRIVING ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD!!

  • 2:35 i came.....

  • like turd on your carpet lol

  • awesome vid ! dont like the bike tough .. ( i like 999

  • i love my 848 evo!!!

  • i had a 848 evo and now a 1198 will never get a ducati again piece of crap clutches that give out before 2000 miles

  • so sexy

  • LMFAOTF!!!!

  • "The White Is Pure Sex." LMAO

  • WANT!!!!!!!!!

  • best review ever

  • how much is full coverage insurance for a 1198, just a a estimate

  • @cricket12ish Really depends on your age, driving record, and amount of time you have had a motorcycle license. Are you in the United States?

  • @MrPablopwnage yea im in usa, im a novice rider and lookin to buy a streetbike but im not sure if i can afford the insurance

  • @cricket12ish If you are a novice rider with no previous history and are under 25, it is gonna be expensive. If you are over 25 the prices get better. Check out State Farm if you want an 1198. I have an 2011 1198 SP and bundled all my other insurance with them (car and renters) and I am paying about $50/mo for the bike. Keep in mind though that I have been riding for 12 years and have a totally clean driving record so that definitely helps as well.

  • @MrPablopwnage thanks man, ill look in to that :)

  • im hangin between deciding an 1198 or a brand new suv? help me decide pls.

  • i just wished all reviews were like this one. This was informative and engaging. I learned about the bike and what it has to offer. Thanks for the great review

  • congratulations on a great review, humerous and informative just like all vehicle reviews should be!!....

  • Excelente video

  • what's the difference between the 1198 and 1198 s and sp

  • AWESOME

  • 03:50 priceless!!!! awesome review with great sense of humor!!

  • I'm just trying to figure out what is the quickest way to rake together 22,000 USD for the 1198 SP.

  • @neo2264 theyll be bringing a new one out later this year so you could wait for that and get it or wait till its out and an SP might be cheaper :)

  • I'm looking for a good sports motorcycle, should I get the 1198 or the 848 EVO?

  • Can this be a good first Bike for me?

  • @chez117 if you have a lot of money and you can afford it...then go for it....I'm planning on changing my monster696 for a 1098. They say the brakes might be too strong for begginers but only in case if you press the brake very hard. If you ask me....everyone will press the brake in "situation" so....your call.

  • @chez117 In a word...no! Learn the correct techniques of riding on a smaller capacity bike before you even dream of moving on to something like this, or similar, and by 'smaller capacity', i don't mean a 600cc supersport bike. I would suggest you start with something like Kawasaki 250 Ninja, and learn learn learn, then practise practise practise. Have fun:)

  • @chez117 no

  • @chez117

Depends if you are a sensible person or not. Nobody can answer this for you because nobody knows whether you are. If you overestimate your riding abilities though chances are you'll kill yourself.

But if you have the moneys to buy the beauty you can always also spend some cash on a decent riding school that teaches you how to ride a 1200cc. There is no mystery in riding suberbikes. It's just very unhealthy to make mistakes.

  • Good job guys! One of the best motoring review I've seen in a while :D

Maybe you guys should do this more often.

  • The next time you want to buy a new car, buy one of these and keep the car instead!

  • I love how most British people don't care about Harley-Davidsons!

  • @DeceasedCoob These guys are Australian, mate. ;)

  • Ducati is what Ferrari is to cars! Best bikes overall hands down!

  • Jizz in my pants.

  • why can't all bike reviews be this good??

  • "Pulls like a dormitory full of school boys"

    haha

  • When the voiceover guy said bodily fluids, i didnt expect saliva.

  • @CombatWombat1995 yeah jissmag lol

  • @MrNellie2200 lol excactly

  • The fat guy drooling at 3:50 was me.... And proud to say that it was too.

  • Amazing bike and you guys somehow managed to make a review just as good as the bike.

  • It would take more than a folder over my lap.

  • Im crying right now I WANT A 1198 ahhhii ahhhhii fooouuutt

  • I've never driven a bike, but after watching this video I really would like to give it a go.

    Amazing review.

  • i dont understand. what is the use of the cap beside the gauge?

  • @supamarkzyxe thats for the brake fluid

  • @blackjesusnation nice thanks

  • Comment removed

  • great job . . . we want more . . . 1198 sp

  • Who else got a boner at 2:34?

  • SEX

  • saw one on the road today and nearly jizzed on my steering wheel!

  • not the most exciting review.. but it's very goooood

  • Italian bike URRGGGHHHH its like buying a Fiat Alfa romeo, be ready to get electrical problems after the warranty. O and good luck finding a Ducati service garage that can do the work.

Fireblade is the ultimate - FINISH

  • @shahjahaAn Ducatis r ok with their electrics now (hope so, cause i own one hypermotard :P) . The biggest problem is to find parts... When i crashed i w8 1+ month for the parts i wanted...

  • @huluvuz Well I hope your bike has an excellent journey with you. Not applying this to you, but I fail to understand why people are copy-cats, i.e. at work, everyone drives a Porsche Boxter because all their peers have one. When getting a new bike or car, its good to try all the possible options and go for one that YOU like - not one that you have doubts about, so your buying because your peers like it.

  • @shahjahaAn thanks mate!! and i agree with the "oooh ,everybody have this car-bike, so,i should by the same one". For me hypermotard, was love at first site :D and thanks god is what i wanted!!!!

  • @huluvuz Exactky, thats why i drive a very old car, to everyone its a bangar - but for me its a Classic

  • I LOVE GIZMAG.

  • When the screen warning about the motorcycle pornography came, unexpectedly...so did I.

  • You are making the best motorcycle reviews i have ever seen!

  • I thought pornz are forbidden on youtube???

  • Please No Disrespect, I want to buy my first bike, Honda or Ducati,,,and why

  • @MikexKlaus Honda because you will drop it (I even recommend a used bike for your first go--just have it checked out by a mechanic first), and dropping a Ducati is very sad.

  • @MikexKlaus Neither if you're talking superbikes. A beginner has no business on one. On the other hand, I think the old Monster 600 or 750 would be alright bikes for a beginner (power is nothing comparable to modern inline 4's of the same displacement). Those bikes can be found for a song and also still be fun as you grow. Just get something cheap that you're not afraid to drop. It's very likely that you will drop a bike once or twice in your first year of riding. I did :(

  • This channel should be called Jizzmap.. Just saying

  • lol!

  • We want more motorbike review like this!!!

  • ok, you guys think i'm crazy, but the only thing i dont like about the Ducati is the sound... dont get me wrong! i think its an amazing motorcycle, if not the best. but i'm more of a fan of the gsxr 1000 and r1 kinda sounds that sound a bit like a F1 car. the ducati sounds more like a F3 car. but he, i know MANY other people love the sound of the ducati, but just not me :P

  • @bigbangAT Did you listen to the adjectives this guy used to describe how victorious Ducati is on the track??? and the kind of budget Ducati works with??? How about how dominate Ducati has been for the past couple decades??? Did you see the power graph to show the torgue it produces compared to Honda CBR1000 ??? Did you watch and listen to this video? or are you just a dope, i don't like the Ducate, and you blast out with.. I don't like the noise. YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO LOOK AT A DUCATI.

  • Awsome video, realy enjoyed it. :)

  • awesome review

  • awesome review...

  • that has to be the best review I've ever seen. Love it! Thanks :o)

  • Should be called jizzmag

  • i love ducati

  • Honda and Yamaha make a lot more money from things other then motorcycles which means they need to spend a bunch of money on things other then motorcycles. And while Ducati is able to focus it's engineers on performance, Honda, for example, focuses more on it's own moneymakers such as scooters. It's not that Ducati is magical or special, it's not even a fair comparison you made. You should compare Aprilia technology or EBR as they are also performance focused.

  • @thekkl I think he compared it fairly. Its like saying Ferrari is only better then Handa bec. They focus all their resources on super cars but at the end of the day if you go into a field you are going to be compared especially in the sports bike world where their isn't much to compare to. Then again thats what I feel.... Give them credit they are pretty good!

  • @xxxdroidmonkeyxxx Except Honda doesn't participate in F1 so that comparison doesn't make any sense either. Honestly yeah I know Ducati are very good at what they do I just hate the culture that is forming around them. They are doing what Harley Davidson did. They are doing it for the money. I will fight it for the sake of the motorcycles I love.

  • @thekkl Thats fair BUT no body puts a gun to peoples heads and tells them to buy a certain brand so the fact is, is that the company is really that good or we the consumers are the idiots and deserve things like harly davidson its something to think about i like ducati a lot that doesnt mean i am going to get one i like Kawasaki's too. u get the point i am trying to make.

  • 3:52 LOL

  • awesome review !.... that was me drewling on the 1198 lol!

  • Hayabusa or 1198??

  • @JeffSemperFidelis 1198 all the way. they go round corners as well as straight lines lol.

  • @mtbxcfreak Thanks dude.

  • @JeffSemperFidelis thats ok. Thanks for saying thanks. A lot of people make the mistake of buying a really big bike like a hayabusa because of stats but when they get into the corners things can get a bit hair not to mention slow. good luck with your choice.

  • What a great freakin review. Thanks

  • sweet bike. nice review too. thanks!

  • wuts the difference between 1198sp and the 848evo....wuts better???

  • @NoIVIERCY1 The main difference is the engine size, 1198 vs 849cc. Other than that, they are mostly identical down to part numbers. The suspension is a bit different (they give you insane stuff on the SP) and the rear tire of the 848 is a little narrower to make it more nimble. Which is better depends on the individual. It's like asking which is better between a 600 and a liter bike. Both are bad choices for beginners. The 848 is much less expensive and will cost less on insurance and fuel.

  • @UCMolosser ok cool..thank you....so the 1198 is better on overall performance.....but the gas is better on 848.....one more thing.....do u know how long a 848evo can last on a full tank of gas..(MPG)?? thanks again

  • @NoIVIERCY1 Mileage will depend a lot on how throttle happy you are. The tank on the 848evo and 1198 is 4.1 gallons (US) and the tank on the 1198SP is 4.75 gallons. It's not hard to avg well below 30mpg with an 1198 to the point of barely getting 100 miles per tank. Though if you're smart you can pull over 40mpg. The SP will get the same mpg but better range. The 848 will do a little better, though it still depends on how you use the throttle, I've heard anywhere from mid20's to mid40's mpg.

  • @NoIVIERCY1 Both bikes are stupidly fast and far more capable that you will ever be able to explore on the street and I want to stress that they are NOT bikes for beginners.

  • I agree, I REALLY would suggest you don't get a litre bike as a beginner!!! If you want to get a "beginners" sportsbike try a Honda CBR600RR, not a Duke or Gixxer thou for gods sake! Great review by the way!

  • i wounder how many people on the ducati team own a ducati

  • its a dream !!!

  • Best review ever.

  • "If you ever panic and grab the brakes with 2 fingers, the bike will put you on your bum.. enough said" No not enough said! I dont understand what that means? Please I am a newbie to bikes. What does that mean??????????????????????????????????????

  • @tycoonpratik The brakes are very powerful and don't come equipped with abs. So if you panic and give the brake lever too much force, you lock up the front end, and go for a nice ride on your ass. You have to be very smooth with motorcycles...hope that helps.

  • Hey guys I'm really new to motor cycles and I want to buy a motorcycle that good for everyday use like going to work/school etc. Are there any brands and models you guys/gals would recommend? I drool over these ducatis but for a first bike I'd be unsure of getting one since I'd be using it every day .

  • @Cespinozas Do not get one for everyday use, Ducati's are made for the racetrack, first and foremost. Get like a cheap used sv650 or a cb1000 or r6s, anything that is sporty but still comfortable. Do not get a supersports type bike as a commuter, you will regret it. Once you have the extra funds or want a bike just for enjoyment, then come for the Ducati imo.

  • @SondeBeeches ive read your suggestion and its help...but still,i want to own a DUCATI such as 1198S Corse...and also,im really new in this motorcycle world...which one is better,is it 1198S Corse or GSX-R K9???give me pros and cons of each...tq...

  • @Empacack You're new to motorcycling? Please, please, do not get a literbike...way too much for a beginner.

  • @SondeBeeches so which one i need to buy?yes,i have a moped, hehe!and i want to convert my moped to a super sport bikes....thats why i need some recommendations...

  • @Empacack Neither. Buy a good starter bike instead of those two. If you still want a supersports type bike, go with a 600, please stay away from liter bikes.

  • @SondeBeeches why?give me a specific reason so i will know...

  • @Empacack Getting a literbike as your first bike is worse than getting a ferrari or lamborghini for your first car, and remember, motorcycles take much more skill to operate than cars. With the slightest mistake in twisting your wrist, you can get into deep trouble on a literbike...these types of bikes chew up novices and spit them out. Get a slower bike first so you can build up your skill. I know you want this type of motorcycle, but you would be much better off with something else.

  • @SondeBeeches ok,i get it..so i need a 250 first and to 600cc and go to 1198?heheh

  • @Empacack Ideally, yes...get a 250, keep it for a few months and then upgrade to a 600. Now if you don't want a 250, you can get a 600, but you have to respect these bikes. Just because they're only 600's, doesn't mean that they're easy to ride. Get like a used cbrf4i, they're not as savage as modern supersports and built like tanks. Get some gear (leather with good armor, gloves, etc.) and have fun.

  • @SondeBeeches ok,if like that,i will buy a 848 evo....ehhe!

  • @Empacack It's a sick bike...good luck and have fun.

  • @SondeBeeches is it? is it sick than other sports bike such as gsxr600,r6,zx6 or 675?have you try one?

  • i think i just jizzed in my pants

  • Μητροοοο!!! Τα καταλαβες ή να σου κανω μεταφραση;;;

Τι να κλασουν οι Ιαπωνες μωρεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεεε!!!

  • DUCATI 4EVER

  • Awesome review !

  • Sweeeeeeeet nice post.!!!!!

  • Advertisement and introducing takes 2 mins and 40 secs... too long to wait :)

  • Yep. Seriously great review. Looking to upgrade to an 1198s and thought this was a outstandingly informantive and comprehensive overview. Well done. AAA+++

  • @hamel1968 yep you have two top rated comments.... weird :|

  • Yep. Seriously great review. Very comprehensive. Well done.

  • you look shit on the bike, go lose some weight for gods sake

  • Amazing what a manufacturer can do when they are allowed to have a 200cc larger engine...

  • @UltraSWG Ducati asked that the twins be given more CC's because to make a 1L twin as powerful as the I4's would be very expensive. In racing nowadays they are cutting cost everywhere so privateer teams can afford to race as well. It's a give and take, the I4's have more top end and the twins have more tq down low but sacrifice top end power. There is a 50mm restriction plate as well. in 2010 the ducs had to carry a weight ballast as well to further equalize the bikes.

  • @UltraSWG Its amazing how little most know about engines. There is no power advantage for the cc because it only has 2 cyclinders where others has four. Hp = torque x revs. A four cylinder for the same cc makes more power but it needs high revs to make its power. the twin makes less power but has a better spread of power across the revs. Its just a character really. Note that the racing 1198 actually uses 50 mm air restrictors to try and make things equal. Ducati has usable power not maxium.

  • @benjyboba It's amazing that people still buy into the myth that 2 cylinders with 20% more displacement is equal to a 4 cylinder with 20% less. The advantage was so clear that the Japanese started making 2 cylinder engines to compete with Ducati and Super Bike had to implement even more restrictions to the class to stop it from being a ridiculous fiasco.

  • @UltraSWG Its not a myth, its airflow. Based on the amount of air sucked into the engine but it didn't equalize the torque. Ducati did indeed win with the same cc with the 999 but it was tuned dramatically. Its truely hard to compair the two different engines. They try to equalize two different characters. Twin works well on some tracks and fours on others. Lets face it Torque is well known for winning races.
