  • Awesome!!

  • This is one of the two ABSOLUTELY MOST FABULOUS renditions of "In the Upper Room" I've ever heard!!!! In my book... this is no less awesome than Mahalia Jackson's version. YOWZA!!!

  • I recorded this concert on vhs when it was shown on the BBC arena programme in the eighties. lamentably I have lost the tape but, was delighted to be able to buy the CD this year. It still has that "I've just heard something unique and very special" sound to it and I am grateful someone has taken the trouble to make it available to all.

  • Nonsuch Records re-released the Knee Plays on November the 6th. it's on Amazon! I heard about this piece through all songs considered. Thank you for posting this! it is truly amazing!

  • Ah! Somehow I accidentally rated "worth watching" and then redid it "Awesome!" to try to negate it. Sorry about that.

  • I'm not a great brass fan, but for some reason or another I like this song. I prefer the album version though.

  • There is a DVD available. Please message me for more details.

  • I've got the album, that is "In The Upper Room"

  • I don't have the album, so I can't compare the two. Also, the album has twelve tracks rather than ten. Confused? You will be...

  • That should be "In the Upper Room" if they are playing them in the same order as the CD. Which they aren't since David sings "I Bid You Goodnight" at the end which is track 8 on the CD. So meh, dunno. I tried. Sorry.
