i love guitar hero have bought the band for 2 consoles Wii and xbox. i will also be buying this too as they are such good products. i wasnt really into the rock music b4 i played guitar hero and i actually have become a fan of metallica since GH-metallica has been out. the game didnt really appeal to me but it has opened my eyes to different types of music which im glad.

it's just a generally bad game. awefull setlist along with bad character design *not to mention bringing in other instruments totally ignore the games title completly*

the only good games where guitar 2 and 3. and 3 was the first one made without harmonix. but usually when the good side of the company leaves. it all goes to shit *look what happened to command and conquer*

meh, that's just yet another spin off to me. the reason half the people buy it is of course it has metallica in it...but even then there missing quite a lot of good songs, and to what i have seen. there is less metallica songs that there is other bands songs on the game. which is a bad idea cos is i was the head of making it. i'd have at least 2-3 songs from each album, heck maybe 4. and obviously including other bands as well, equally matching the ammount of songs metallica has.
