hey if you get a longer rope then it wolnt pull you torwards the shore as much and that way you can pull shuzs and stuff, i just started wakeskating good luck, trust me a 70 or 80 foot rope will work like a god
30mph would work yes, but its too fast to do much of anything. Most wakeskaters like 20-24 mph when riding behind boat. 21-22 is fine for a little ditch action.
that water's about 3ft deep, should be 'bout 2ft deeper for safety reasons but hey it's not that bad, just gotta remember to try an' straighten out if you go out the front so you don't gudge yer head into the bottom, helps with ridin' switchies though
this was about my 8th time on a wakeskate.. haha over two years ago... it wasnt that dangerous... ive rode in shallow ditches where when you fall you always hit the bottom.

i would add a long pole to the truck so you wont get pulled to shore one that would collapse easy for driving to this spot on the road.

That ditch is perfect, you should have used bindings, gotten some extra slack and then jumped of the edge. The speed you want is 20-30mph
