  • I washed my hair before I did the ACV rinse. Then I did a deep conditioner after the ACV rinse. Guess next time it's best to watch the whole video, lol. Does it really matter what order they are in? I heard you say something at the end about why you did it in the order you used.

  • BBBD-Thank you so much for this recipe. I tried the diluted shampoo and ACV rinse and my hair has never been this moisturized ever!!!!! I'm on Day 3 and its still super shiny. I will try this rinse everytime i shampoo. Stay blessed!!!

  • Thanks so much for this I just took out my mini micro twist I had in for a month and I am going to us this method today:)

  • this is great. i see a reference to Carols daughter. Is that where I will be able to find a similar wash and ACV. I dont think i would be able to keep up to all of these products unless they are all in one spot!

  • I plan on using this method this weekend thank you...You are the best.

  • Very informative. Not simple, though.

  • is the ACV rinse good to use with senegalese twists or braids?

  • is it ok to mix in my own oils or do i have to use the same ones that u did ?

  • I'm 4 months post-BC and can't wait until my hair is as long and healthy as yours! I'm dying to try some of the styles you've shown in your videos. Thank you so much for the awesome work you do. Your videos are inspiring and encouraging as well as educational. Keep up the excellent work!!

  • How often shud u do the acv rinse

Love your hair very inspirational. Thank fir the time taken to share x

  • What did you use after the ACV and before you blow dried?? I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT :)

  • great video :-)

  • your hair looks so shiny, I like this shampoo and conditioning method did you rinse the shampoo mixture out before applying the ACV rinse? and also did you comb your hair during the cleansing at all to detangle?

  • @Jennycherie1 hey dear! I did rinse the shampoo. As far as detangling, U usually detangle in sections with my fingers.

  • you hair looks so shiny, I like this shampoo and conditioning method did you rinse the water out before applying the ACV rinse? did you comb your hair during the cleansing process?

  • Thank you for sharing these tips! Can't wait to try them. How do you maintain your blow out with an exercise regime?

  • iherb.com is a website where you can order organic oils and everything you need to keep your hair healthy (at a good price). If you order your products and type in this promo code POH823 at checkout. You get $5 off your first order! I just ordered me some glycerin.

  • well done

  • I do not understand how to make my hair grow since 2 years. Could you please help me. :( :( :( :(

  • @12066305 hair has to be handled like fine silk. Afro textured hair should be washed at LEAST once a week. It should also be deep conditioned and moisturized. To keep hair moisturized, you can do a mix of vegetable glycerin & water 40% -60% in that order or 30%-70%. to keep the hair moisturized. It can be overwhelming for beginners, but check out some of the You tube videos they're very helpful in that area.

  • @jacienz wonderful advice!

  • I love your videos because they are very informative. What do you use for your face to achieve the smoothness please. Thanks. God be with you and keep up the good work.

  • Do you rinse the shampoo out before you add the conditioner to your hair? I'm not sure if you mentioned that step, and I have seen tutorials where conditioner is applied to hair with shampoo still in it. BTW your skin looks flawless as do your hair. Thanks for sharing.

  • @shalemar100 Yes ma'am I rinse it our 1st.

  • Thanks for sharing. I love the shine to your hair and I can tell how light and free it is by the bounce. I've been thinking about using this method to wash my hair because it's really growing longer. I've been doing the Honey and Olive Oil treatment and then doing the AC rinse and that works; however I think I will try this method as well. Keep bring them video's and congrats on all your accomplishments. You're truly an inspiration to many.

  • @drgraham1295 LOVE you back!

  • @BeautifulBrwnBabyDol When you wear it naturally (my natural hair pattern is a lot curlier than yours and longer) what do you do to it? Just nothing at all? Or..? I would really like to know if you do not mind(=

  • Love it! and love the new protective style look, anticipating the EASY tutorial, cuz it looks single strand, may go ahead and try it without the tutorial-lol! currently on a protective styling challenge so. Thanks for this tutorial as well.

  • I like the tip about mixing water with shampoo, I have loc's and use a lot of shampoo. great tip!

  • Thanks for the tip. I ACV Rinse, but before, I didn't rinse with cool water after. I do it twice a month now as well.

  • Could you list your hair recipies in the descriptions?

  • Your hair is beautiful... Can't wait to get to that length.

  • Can this be used on color treated hair?

  • How do you rinse it out? In sections? or all at once?

  • I can't live w/o acv rinse but I love to incorporate herbs too! Makes my hair sooooo soft!

  • Thanks BBBD! I truly appreciate all your videos & keep up the great work! I definitely needed this info....i have product build up! You are a gift! Thanks a million!

  • thanks for sharing! you are the best, and you want the best for your sisters as well....i will definelty try it in the near future. I am just curious @ BeautifulBrwnBabyDol: HOW MUCH ALL THAT COST?

  • What happen to the intro? i always sing along with it :(

    But Great Video anywayss :D

  • I love this technique. I will def try this on my daughter. It seems no matter how much shampoo I use she still has some residue on her scalp. This could be the solution to the problem. THanks for sharing.

  • What are you going to do? TJ's isn't in texas right?

  • I wash and condition my hair in sections too. Also I do my ACV rinse at the end of my conditioning step because I like how it gets any conditioner residue off of my scalp after rinsing with water. My scalp does not like to have anything left on it. The only difference is that I don't rinse out my ACV rinse. I just pat my hair dry and proceed to apply my glycerin spray and leave-in conditioner mix and of course, extra virgin coconut and/or extra virgin olive oil(s) to seal my hair and ends.

  • @BargainClipper Yep I do the same. I like to apply The ACV after the conditioning step, leaving it in and then move on the leave ins, sealing, etc :)

  • @BeNaturallyJazzy I knew I wasn't the only one ;-).

  • Love this video!! It's now saved to my favorites! Keep'em coming!!

  • Thanks for the tutorial, this changes the way I wash my hair altogether. i know this is totally off the topic but I have the same Baby -G watch

  • I have a question. It looks like you washed it but didn't rinse it. You immediately went straight to the conditioner mix. Is that correct?

  • is that pure rosemary essential oil or rosemary essential oil diluted in a carrier oil?

    I love your blowout!

  • would you recommend a blow dryer? i havent found one i have really liked. or have you done a review on one?

  • @onlyjaaki she has already recommended a blow dryer in one of her prior videos. The yellow bird dryer it also comes in black called the black bird. Both work well the only difference it's in color. Although beauty suppliers state that the black bird dryer is a better version out of the two to purchase.

  • ur so clever!

    love this mix

  • i love acv rinses as well

  • I always do acv rinses. I never thought to add essential oils and honey. Must try next time! Thanks! oh yeah, I love how your videos are evolving.

  • hey. i study aromatherapy, did u know ylang ylang is an afradesiac? lol i like the ingrediants. thanx

  • ok so i am on a budget due to a recent job loss but i do have evoo and pure tea tree oil on hand can i use this instead of buying the wheat germ and ylang ylang

  • Something I am going to try. Thank you.

  • I love these new videos!!!! I love the demonstrations and the teaching. So motivating!

  • Thx 4 sharin, luv Nina!

  • Great video, I will try this method- do you use a leave in conditioner or do you just blow dry as is? Thanks

  • Do you use the ACV rinse every time you shampoo? How often do you shampoo?

  • i tried acv in my hair and i smelled like vinegar all day. smh

  • @720ent How much did you dilute it? I use one or two teaspoons to a cup of water for a spritz and leave it in, and the smell disappears as it dries. Or is it that I got used to it? LOL

  • @AfroTee girl i cant remember lol. I just know I smelled like straight vinegar all day lol

  • Soooo helpful! Thank u

  • Love hour blow out!!!! Ur hair grown a lot

  • I love your shampoo diluting method. I usually wet my hair and use a quarter size amount.

  • So informative!! Don't think I had even heard of Ylang Ylang before this video!! Thanks!

  • @itsboochiebihh Ylang Ylang is on my flower essential oil to-buy list.

  • I'm not really interested in doing this to my hair but I just love the sound of your voice, I could listen to you read the phone book. I'm just sitting here relaxing listening to you explain... yea I know it sounds weird.

  • YOU SEEM TO BLOW DRY OFTEN... HOW IS IT THAT YOU DON'T EXPERIENCE ANY DAMAGE?

  • @polarBEAR819 I really only blow-dry about 10-12 times yearly. I guess the videos seem to time them more often. However, i take extra care of my hair and don't blow my hair straight.

  • @BeautifulBrwnBabyDol thanks for answering my question :) i think heat damage is my worse fear ive even had nighmares LOL jk

  • @polarBEAR819 BELIEVE ME! I know! LOL! I am sooooo gentle with my hair its CRAZY!

  • @polarBEAR819 Oh, and I mostly protective style.

  • So wash....condition....acv rinse???!!!! :)

  • Ok, I will go and buy some sulfate-free shampoo, and I'm going to try this acv rinse because I need softer hair. I also think I will try washing my hair like this, instead of in the shower, because it's more control, and I already have too many tangles. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Do you normally wash your hair standing at the mirror or is this only for the purpose of making this video??? I have done a conditioner wash that way and it works well! :)

  • Wow congrats!! your my inspiration !!! Xx

  • Good idea with the applicator bottle. If you're diluting shampoo for future uses, I would recommend distilled water. I used regular water and my shampoo went rancid.

  • Thanks for sharing I will have to try your method.

  • thanks for sharing this way of shampooing now i know have to shampoo my hair the right way , this video has helped me alot , GOD bless , :)

  • nice closing music.

  • how long is your growth so far? its lovely.!

  • @sesamestreet90 I'm below bra strap.....its been 4 years! Thanks!

  • Love this method..I've been using the applicator bottle method for ever!! It makes it so much easier n u don't hate shampooing ur hair as much LOL

  • Thanks much for the video and the explanation of the technique. This is @HAUTE219 from Twitter. I'm also trying your Shea butter and oil mix. You are awesome!!!

  • Can I order the shampoo online. I've heard about this brand before, but there's no Trader Joe's in TX.

  • Nina do you use a specific shampoo and conditioner for your color treated hair? Do you have any suggestions for color treated hair shampoo and conditioner:) Thanks for a great video!!

  • Love the new shampoo technique! I going to sallys on pay day, lol. I just finished my weekly spa day, and found that I was not really enjoying my shampoo as usual (hais is getting long). Thanks luv!

  • Ok...thank you

  • Great wash method. I will try this. U r amazing :)

  • How often should this be done?

  • @mekhile I do it 2 times a month now.

  • I also dilute my shampoo. It's the only way to wash my thick hair. I usually employ the ACV rinse/ conditioner method when I have kinky twist extensions in. I may try this on my "loose hair as well. Thanks for sharing.
