I washed my hair before I did the ACV rinse. Then I did a deep conditioner after the ACV rinse. Guess next time it's best to watch the whole video, lol. Does it really matter what order they are in? I heard you say something at the end about why you did it in the order you used.
BBBD-Thank you so much for this recipe. I tried the diluted shampoo and ACV rinse and my hair has never been this moisturized ever!!!!! I'm on Day 3 and its still super shiny. I will try this rinse everytime i shampoo. Stay blessed!!!
this is great. i see a reference to Carols daughter. Is that where I will be able to find a similar wash and ACV. I dont think i would be able to keep up to all of these products unless they are all in one spot!
HI!! Im 17 and I've been natural for 2 years now, I jaust have 1 question maybe you can help me with. All my permed ends are cutt off, but i still have straight ends..How can I get rid of this?
love the video very informative ! i just did my geni loc , so how do i cleanse them without actually washing them ,can you use this method instead of shampoo or should i get the dry shampoo and then use the acv method and also do you have any styles for long geni loc? thanks and keep the video's comming, im as well on a natural hair journey it's been 1yr and 2wks for me
I'm 4 months post-BC and can't wait until my hair is as long and healthy as yours! I'm dying to try some of the styles you've shown in your videos. Thank you so much for the awesome work you do. Your videos are inspiring and encouraging as well as educational. Keep up the excellent work!!
your hair looks so shiny, I like this shampoo and conditioning method did you rinse the shampoo mixture out before applying the ACV rinse? and also did you comb your hair during the cleansing at all to detangle?

iherb.com is a website where you can order organic oils and everything you need to keep your hair healthy (at a good price). If you order your products and type in this promo code POH823 at checkout. You get $5 off your first order! I just ordered me some glycerin.
@12066305 hair has to be handled like fine silk. Afro textured hair should be washed at LEAST once a week. It should also be deep conditioned and moisturized. To keep hair moisturized, you can do a mix of vegetable glycerin & water 40% -60% in that order or 30%-70%. to keep the hair moisturized. It can be overwhelming for beginners, but check out some of the You tube videos they're very helpful in that area.
I love your videos because they are very informative. What do you use for your face to achieve the smoothness please. Thanks. God be with you and keep up the good work.
Do you rinse the shampoo out before you add the conditioner to your hair? I'm not sure if you mentioned that step, and I have seen tutorials where conditioner is applied to hair with shampoo still in it. BTW your skin looks flawless as do your hair. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. I love the shine to your hair and I can tell how light and free it is by the bounce. I've been thinking about using this method to wash my hair because it's really growing longer. I've been doing the Honey and Olive Oil treatment and then doing the AC rinse and that works; however I think I will try this method as well. Keep bring them video's and congrats on all your accomplishments. You're truly an inspiration to many.
@BeautifulBrwnBabyDol When you wear it naturally (my natural hair pattern is a lot curlier than yours and longer) what do you do to it? Just nothing at all? Or..? I would really like to know if you do not mind(=
Love it! and love the new protective style look, anticipating the EASY tutorial, cuz it looks single strand, may go ahead and try it without the tutorial-lol! currently on a protective styling challenge so. Thanks for this tutorial as well.
Thanks BBBD! I truly appreciate all your videos & keep up the great work! I definitely needed this info....i have product build up! You are a gift! Thanks a million!
thanks for sharing! you are the best, and you want the best for your sisters as well....i will definelty try it in the near future. I am just curious @ BeautifulBrwnBabyDol: HOW MUCH ALL THAT COST?
I love this technique. I will def try this on my daughter. It seems no matter how much shampoo I use she still has some residue on her scalp. This could be the solution to the problem. THanks for sharing.
I wash and condition my hair in sections too. Also I do my ACV rinse at the end of my conditioning step because I like how it gets any conditioner residue off of my scalp after rinsing with water. My scalp does not like to have anything left on it. The only difference is that I don't rinse out my ACV rinse. I just pat my hair dry and proceed to apply my glycerin spray and leave-in conditioner mix and of course, extra virgin coconut and/or extra virgin olive oil(s) to seal my hair and ends.
@onlyjaaki she has already recommended a blow dryer in one of her prior videos. The yellow bird dryer it also comes in black called the black bird. Both work well the only difference it's in color. Although beauty suppliers state that the black bird dryer is a better version out of the two to purchase.
ok so i am on a budget due to a recent job loss but i do have evoo and pure tea tree oil on hand can i use this instead of buying the wheat germ and ylang ylang
@720ent How much did you dilute it? I use one or two teaspoons to a cup of water for a spritz and leave it in, and the smell disappears as it dries. Or is it that I got used to it? LOL
I'm not really interested in doing this to my hair but I just love the sound of your voice, I could listen to you read the phone book. I'm just sitting here relaxing listening to you explain... yea I know it sounds weird.
@polarBEAR819 I really only blow-dry about 10-12 times yearly. I guess the videos seem to time them more often. However, i take extra care of my hair and don't blow my hair straight.
Ok, I will go and buy some sulfate-free shampoo, and I'm going to try this acv rinse because I need softer hair. I also think I will try washing my hair like this, instead of in the shower, because it's more control, and I already have too many tangles. Thanks so much for sharing.
Do you normally wash your hair standing at the mirror or is this only for the purpose of making this video??? I have done a conditioner wash that way and it works well! :)
Good idea with the applicator bottle. If you're diluting shampoo for future uses, I would recommend distilled water. I used regular water and my shampoo went rancid.
Thanks much for the video and the explanation of the technique. This is @HAUTE219 from Twitter. I'm also trying your Shea butter and oil mix. You are awesome!!!
Nina do you use a specific shampoo and conditioner for your color treated hair? Do you have any suggestions for color treated hair shampoo and conditioner:) Thanks for a great video!!
Love the new shampoo technique! I going to sallys on pay day, lol. I just finished my weekly spa day, and found that I was not really enjoying my shampoo as usual (hais is getting long). Thanks luv!
I also dilute my shampoo. It's the only way to wash my thick hair. I usually employ the ACV rinse/ conditioner method when I have kinky twist extensions in. I may try this on my "loose hair as well. Thanks for sharing.
