There's something about rain that makes me ridiculously happy. When I grow up, when I turn eighteen, I'd like to move to Seattle or at least Washington. Forget about L.A. and New York, I've always wanted to move to Seattle since I was 12 just for the rain.
@SugaryBloom Oh yea! Seattle is one of a kind. In the winter you will have downpours of rain and sometimes even snow. You will go to sleep with the sound of steady rain. Then you may wake up to lighting or heavy hail. Sometimes even strong winds. When you wake up there is dew everywhere. This year we had really weird snow. it came falling down as snow. But when you felt it the snow felt rubbery. It was even weirder because it actually would bounce! It was not hail and it was not ice.
Seattle's average annual rainfall is around 34.1 inches a year. That doesn't even come close to major cities in the south. like MIami and Atlanta that get considerably more . The city, Seattle, known for rain. Should be the city known for clouds.
@stavrophotography thank you for saying it twice in a row. We got the point the first time. ur more badass than anyone else because u know everything and u came up with a catchy new way to recognize Seattle.
@Buffalosabskis haha actually washington gets the most snow out of all 50 states. Mt. Baker gets a TON of snow. It gets the most snow out of all the mountains in the US.
@Buffalosabskis i love buffalo im from the bay i just came back the summer killed me.....one thing i will miss about california is the winters....i love the rain
More rain than Seattle? Jeez! I'm from N.O. and actually love rain. Ive always been considered the weird one! Although we get our share down here, I envy my baby brother staying up there in the Emerald City!
My home town, Bergen, is one of Seattle's sister cities. The weather in Bergen is very similar to the weather in Seattle, but we have more rain. It rains about 89" in average a year, compared to Seattle's 34".
