He came up with the name Naruto from some Ramen noddle thingies...and then there was the influence of Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko. Then after the book came out, Minato and Kushina chose that name for their son.

Wow!!! if Itachi gave naruto the power to use sharingan i would stop watching. He has enough power as it is all ready. Sage, Fox and a shit load of chakra. Itachi probably gave naruto something to combat sasuke eye techniques like Tsyukumoi and Ameretsu However you spell it.

Not really. Have you ever seen the anime, LOVELESS? I read a couple of the manga, so I looked up the anime (since I couldn't get a hold of any more of the manga). The anime didn't answer hardly ANY of the questions raised about the story; once the character learned the lesson he was supposed to learn, the story just ended.

nope, he's not. When the fourth hokage used that jutsu againt Orochimaru in their final battle, he said that it was the same one that the third hokage used and that the jutsu requires the user's life.
