everytime im fighting dracula i hit his head dead on, but no damage..why is that. i seriously cannot get one attack on him

when i played this as a kid for the first time at my friends house, we FINALLY after a long ass time beat Death and made it to Dracula... when we knocked his head off we were like YEAHHH!!! WE BEAT HIM... then when he turned into that second form we were freaked out and scared as shit! Needless to say it was fun summer lol

i know that you carry Holy Water from the previous stage, but can you find it in this one?

When I'm throwing the holy water I can't throw another until the flam runs out on the last one you threw. Why is it that you can and how can I do it?

@lilbshull Because I have 'Double Throw' (the roman numerals to the right of the hearts).

Double Throw, and Triple Throw, reduces the delay time between each sub-weapon use.

@Suiton1 yeah I figured that out about 10 mins after I posted that. It also took me a while to realize you have to hit the second form in the head too. But, in case you were wondering I did beat him, twice now actually, and am moving on to Metroid.

Not really, you just need have enough bars to get hit once by his second form, you then land the last hit on the first form when he is at either corners, he'll keep jumping you keep back tracking to the other side, then either get hit and cross to the other side and repeat, or go under his high jump.

What you said is more than true for Death though.

Holy Water, aka the best side weapon in the game, which also happens to have the ability to freeze enemies for milliseconds.

what the hell i have gotten to dracula but never beaten him. i could never even get to his second form. i need advice please

For the first form, you want to jump immediately AFTER he opens his cloak and whip him in the head. You can't jump before he opens the cloak or he'll aim the fireballs up to where you'll be, so you need to jump after that. Just hit him while you're in midair, rinse, and repeat.

Not a very forgiving boss... You have to hit hit 48 times (16 first form, 32 second form) to kill him and he only has to hit you 4. I've beaten him quite a few times, but never on the first try.

Clock Tower --> Stairs --> Dracula's Castle.

To my knowledge that's the classical pathway to Dracula in many of the Castlevania titles, such as SOTN.

this last boss is hard as hell, even if you know how to beat him.

i,ve played this game for the first time 10 years back and reached grim reaper but even that boss is hard as hell,even today i,ve,nt reached level 6,alltrough i dit beated grimreaper once, but i died duo his last circle wich hitted me in the ass!!!!!!!!
