One of the saddest things I've ever seen was fully laden F15's taking off from Lakenheath to bomb Serbian targets. Whilst I understood the war, and why they needed to do it - it was a sombering feeling.
First, an F-15 could and would not make the trip from England to Serbia fully loaded with weapons, and two aircraft in the Serbian conflicts used Aviano as a base of operations.
Nice, but that moron screaming in the crowd just ruin it all...

I was TDY there in 1997, and I will never forget the F-16's, F-15's, F-18's and Tornados blasting out of there! Awesome vid . . .

i live in brandon suffolk ( 6 miles away ) & thats a beautiful sight ! nearly as nice as a vulcan bomber with a belly full of nukes.
