The engine number 1989 is the year DRGW was taken over by SP. UP has built a unit to celebrate the heritage of each railroad they have come to own through mergers and such. This heritage unit spends most its time running Denver CO to Pueblo CO on the Joint line which is old Santa Fe and old DRGW track.

I got an idea, why not have 1989 and 1983 on the CZ for one day? If BNSF creates a CB&Q unit, use that, too.

@sagestats 1 P42 died near Denver so UP gave that unit to help.
