  • This makes Beethoven the greatest composer ever to come out of Germany.

  • @martythetickler

I think Beethoven was the greatest composer to come from anywhere.

  • @SirSebastianWang I place him second only to Tchaikovsky. :)

  • they all have the same vibrato. i don't know if i like that or not.

  • There is nothing to say..

  • Aldous does know his shit

  • This is for sure the music to listen to while being shot by fascists.

  • the "like" button doesn't quite do it justice... where's the "this piece has changed my life" button?

  • The minute from 3:40 to 4:40 is absolutely sublime

  • Ludwig Van Beethoven composed this while he was deaf ... with all due respect , i don't fucking care who the hell is playing it . the truly holiness of this masterpiece happened a long time ago .

  • I don't like the cello player.

  • I could listen to the first 3 and a half minutes for the rest of my life.

  • 3:47 a touch of hope?

  • Yes - it would be wonderful to know who's playing.

  • @jeffg2020 @Thedivinemusic1 @alexkadeus

Alright, just for you guys, I went out of my way to find out who the performers were. It's the Yale String Quartet. Happy now?

  • @SirSebastianWang Thank you for finding out and telling us, kind sir!

  • This is beautiful. May I know which Quarttet is playing?

  • @Thedivinemusic1 and who is that painting by?

  • @alexkadeus

I don't know the quartet, but the painting is Cole Thomas' "The Ruined Tower".

  • @Thedivinemusic1

I unfortunately do not know which quartet is playing.
