Also, who is anyone to decide who is emo or happy or who is kickass? If someone is depressed, it is not a joke or a fashion statement. Wouldn't faking it be just as bad? You said that this is a hallmark of an abusive relationship, with him wanting to throw himself off a cliff if he rejects her (not your words). However, it is her that says that harm would cause her to jump not him, while he starts the relationship. I would suggest that she considers this a sort of last chance and if he hurts her then she has nothing left.

It's true- that is hard to do.
I've dealt with my own suffering. Everyone does, at one point.
And suicide has been considered.
But I have to remind myself of the people that love me...and if I stay alive, maybe I can someone impact someone's life along the road.
You never know what you can do until you try. Even if it means living your days numb, live them out. It'll pay off eventually.
Life is hard. But everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

The Spill Canvas is amazing. I love Nick's voice and the guitar playing is impecable. I love so much what they do- pack such amazing messages in just a few moments of beautiful music. Keep performing and writing, it gets me through.

I can, and do listen to all five minutes of this song over and over again.
It's so amazing. One of those songs that even if you don't like this type of music (which I love this type of music) you still can get the meaning of.

i got it,the song(to me anyways)is about guys always leaving or hurting her.so she wants to commit suicide,and he proves to her that it doesnt have to be that way.

While there is no wrong way to inturpt a song, that's the beauty of music, I think the song is more about not being alone. A lot of people feel the emotions they are feeling are theirs alone; their own cross to carry. I also feel the song ends with a lovely spin of, "If you can give people/things/places/life a second chance...it won't always be better...but it can be." And to be honest, do we all live life hoping it COULD be better even tho most the time we are to afraid to MAKE it better?

Ok holy shit! every1 stop fighting for what the fucking song means. The point of music is to interpret the song yourself, and find out what the song means to u!
