@bht97 its really simple man... that little circle button that says "scratch" on it. press it and hold it. then while your finger is on that button turn the knob in the top left and you should see the different scratch modes appear as you turn it. but this is how you do it with USBs and CDs. not sure how it would work with traktor

@DjCBlaq first of all thank you for your compliment it is much appreciated! to answer your questions, In this video i'm not even using the mixdeck as a software controller. I'm using the USB flash drive setting. i basically just load all of my mp3's on to the flash drive, plug them in, and mix. i find it easier then using traktor because quite frankly... i don't like it haha. and as for the cues, nope when i made this vid I honestly didn't even know how to set them. its all live looping!

@DjCBlaq You'll get better over time man! and i've had the mixdeck for a little less than a year now. in this vid i honestly was just trying to experiment with what the machine could do. I made this in october and got the mixdeck in august. Theres video i made with some of those cues you were asking about if your interested. its called House Mix

@TheCalikiddd wait wait... i just had an epiphany hahaha. what i'm doing in this video isn't nessisarily looping... its RElooping... which means you never hit the 'Loop Out' button... you hit 'Loop In' and then tap the 'Reloop' button according to how you want it to sound... you can see how i do it in the vid... just watch which buttons i hit closley... but Relooping only works with flash drives or CDs... it wont work while running Traktor... i personally hate Traktor. its a pain to set up haha

@TheCalikiddd well theres two ways you can do that.... but their slightly different... you can loop the section you want to hear... and it'll constantly be playing over and over until you loop it out.... to do that you press 'loop in' at the start of the section and when you're done you hit 'loop out' and it'll keep playing that part over and over.... the other way to do it is by setting your cue but thats harder to explain haha

Take your time and practice. Get the basics down. Simple mixing and then the baby scratch.

A whole lot of cue pointing is not the answer.

This inst a mix , its not even a mini mix. Its 2 songs. Good thing the 1st song had scratching in it because you need some practice. Some advice dont scratch on the same platter the song is playing from. Learn how to use your fader, and stop with the loops they get old after awhile.
