  • Love the "Audio 2" version with the Honey Drippers!

  • @premier the program syncs it 4 him...u just have to drop it right

  • @eadefeo Serato Scratch Live does NOT sync the tracks!

@premier I placed a cue point at the beginning of each song. In Serato i activated the function that let's you trigger the cue point by dropping the needle on the first section of the vinyl. This means that can go straight to the beginning of a song without using headphones. I can also see the position of the song on my laptop.

  • @djTLM How do you drop the needle to play the cue point? What mode in Serato?

  • Sounds good got to love the 909 it's the shit....

  • Just wondering how is he working without headphones. Props.

  • @djTLM I have never touched serato so didn't know that. But still good feature. And still nice mixing, scratching and cutting.

    Peace

  • W_i_c_k_e_d!!!

    Thx for the tracklist!

    Keep it ON!

  • Respect vanuit Nijmegen!

  • WHAT WAS THAT EFFECT BETWEEN THE MJ SONG AND THE RAKIM JOINT

  • @DjEZ215 It was either the pan echo or normal echo effect on the pioneer djm 909

  • HOW IS HE CHANGING THE BEATS WITHOUT CHANGING THE RECORD?

  • @mwazi1 I'm using Serato Scratch Live. It's a timecode system. This special timecode vinyl has no music on it (just a timecode signal) and is used to manipulate the music in the laptop. I don't have to change records, i just keep on loading new tracks into the virtual decks in the software and then cut them up on the turntables.

If you want to learn more about this you should subscribe to my new youtube tips & tricks channel djTLMtv . I'll post a video about timecode this week.

  • TLM, it's a shame dat hiphop in NL zo low wordt gewaardeerd. Elke keer als ik jou hoor spinnen denk ik damn dat is muziek! FF vraag btw, welk programma met welke draaitafels gebruik je? Thanks and keep up the good work!

I have a question: on The emotions - Blind alley are you using needle drops in absolute, or is going to cue points you setup when you move the needle?

  • @elgallorojo Hey Dj TLM your scratches and mixing is off the hook on every video. i had a question. How do you work your EQ when mixing to the next song and how do you keep one song from being louder than the other when the fader is in the middle?

  • 3:19 tooo sickkkkk!!!! mad effen props!!!

  • @djTLM Hey Dj TLM your scratches and mixing is off the hook on every video. i had a question. How do you work your EQ when mixing to the next song and how do you keep one song from being louder than the other when the fader is in the middle?

  • @MrDjchemist For me, a big part of the EQ in mixing to the next song is the bass. Either i throw in the next song without bass and than slowly add more bass while taking the bass out of the other track. Or, if i want the new track to come in with a real impact, i leave the bass at normal level, but i take out the bass of the last track as soon as i throw the new joint in. Is that clear enough? I can do a video on this if you want.

  • Damn my dude is there any video you don't kill!!!!! This dude is officially the baddest DJ on the planet. All hail DJ TLM,The LAST MOTHAFUCKIN MOHICAN for you cats that don't know!!!

  • Regular SL1200's, but you can use any turntable with serato

  • Do you have some kind of virtual dj ?

or how do you load your songs onto your decks?

    please answer man. thanks!

  • Did it again. Correction > Forget about the fader hand (keep getting it twisted lol). I meant it seemed like you`re more comfortable with your right for vinyl control, left on fader. Technically better crossfader technique (RIGHT HAND) but not as comfortable left controlling the vinyl. I say that because thats how I am & most pple are the other way round. Good crossfader technique right hand & left vinyl control but can only backspin with the right (if u know what i mean).

  • Yup, I know what you mean! :)

  • lol My bad (I got the ? twisted). Was asking if your right hand is your stronger fader hand (basic cutting)& your left > more technical ish. I ask because i`ve noticed although you use both hands your right seems to be your favoured for primary cuts & your left for the more technical ish. Noticed very few use the left as the main fader hand. Most dj`s who can only use 1 hand often use the left hand for vinyl control / right on crossfader.

  • Can you cut(crossfader > RIGHT HAND)with your left brotha man?. I see you use your right hand for all the primary cuts left hand for the technical ish (crabs etc). PS: Crab control on the intro was on point.

  • I do transform and crabs with my right hand (on the fader) and most other techniques I do with my left hand (on the fader)

I want to make more time to practice again because it would be nice to be able to do all cuts with both hands!

  • cool
