Three Days Grace has had the same lead singer (Adam Gontier) since Groundswell. he looks different b/c he got black contacts, and dyed his hair. also he did drugs so he sounds different now. but he doesn't sound worse to me, he sounds the same. Adam is the same person as Adam lol. when i first saw a music video of Never Too Late and Just Like You i though they were 2 different people also. but that was like about a year ago.

Well ariannacaz93, I have seen them live several times and on tv a bunch, and it's simply a fact that he can't really sing that well live. You either hit the proper notes or you don't, and he does not. He certainly did not do "pretty awesome", in fact he is quite off key. You obviously do not have a good ear for musical tone and I am sorry for that, but I have been a musician for 20 years and I know what I am talking about.

One of my fave bands hands down, but he is not good live. Someone a few pages back said no one is good live, bullshit. I'm sure I'll get reamed for this, but Nickleback is PERFECT live. Some guys can sing live, some are good in the studio with a rack of effects. Doesn't change how great this album is though.

The only reason TDG is considered an emo band in the first place is because of the dark nature of their songs. But that does not make them emo. After all, these songs were shown in the first place because Adam Gontier got over his drug addiction, so he's explaining how it felt back then, not how he feels now. The only songs that detail his present feelings are much more optimistic than some seem to realize. WHY DO PEOPLE STILL CALL THREE DAYS GRACE EMO?
