  • you buy ur music? :D

  • man, i am using windows 7, and i tried do it your way, but things at the amarok site have change (probably to make the installation more comfortable), and i just cant do it.

i mean, i am running the KDE and it's downloading the amarok.

but only downloading, i cant find any executable file to install it.

i would be really glad if u can help me (or every body else reading it)

  • @naosi3332: If you follow the instructions on this website: amarok[dot]kde[dot]org/wiki/Download:Windows, you should be fine.

The thing to note is the amarok gets installed in that location of the downloaded kdewin-installer-gui-latest.exe file. So, if you look in the bin folder, you should see amarok. It kind of sucks that it doesn't make any start menu shortcuts.

So, make sure you download that .exe file to the place you want amarok to be installed however (Such as C:\KDE).

    Hope that helps!

  • @dmglouis

yo, thx for the very fast response!

i will try it, tbh i wanted it only for sync to my iPod songs with album-art.

(but i tried monkeymedia and it worked great)

    thx again
