@BassmanSW In my experience the ricochets you get from shooting steel wouldn't produce enough inertia to create a dimple in a car door. I've never had a round do anything but drop right in front or beside the target once it makes contact. If its a JHP it usually breaks into tiny little pieces and again I find them right below the target. There are huge misconceptions about shooting steel and ricochets. Especially if its good quality flat steel (arntzen targets) that Hickok uses.

Wow, great shooting, and with a Glock 23, I have the Glock 22 which has a Longer Barrel among other differences, which makes your shooting that much more impressive. I think one of the most impressive Glocks is the Glock 20, which is a 10mm Caliber, I have one and have put many rounds through it. There have been other manufacturers who have made 10mm handguns and their slides end up cracking or having some other malfunction due to the 10mm's power. Great Handgun, Great shooting,Great Video!!

Awesome shooting!!! Me and my buddy long range shoot our glocks, he has a 23 and I have a 22c, and my buddy just busted a coyote with his glock 23 at 174 yards. These videos help inspire us to practice our skills out past 200 yards with pistols. It also helps us shoot our rifles out to 1200 yards. Thanks for the cool videos.
I know you like Glocks, but what do you think of the Sig P250, Getting ready to get back in to shooting and I'am stuck between the Glock 19 and the Sig P250, I like the Glock beacuse it's a Glock however I like the Sig because of the way you can change it for your needs. Please help if you can.
@pawlee56 , I've not even held one, but I know Sig makes quality products. Sigs are as good as Glocks; I just prefer the trigger and simplicity of the Glock a bit better.

@pawlee56 i like glocks as well. I have shot a sig p250.. it was OK.. it didnt fit my hand nicely. you should look at the walther p99.. its picky on ammo but shoots like a dream. or the ruger sr9 is a good cheap alternative to a sig as well.. a friend of mine has the sr9. it shoots decent and is fairly customizable. it has a built on front rail amongst other things.
Question for hickok, or anyone else who has some knowledge. I am considering getting a Glock 23 and I was wondering if you have any thoughts on Gen 4 vs Gen 3. I've heard that the new mag release on the Gen 4s makes it easy to accidentally dump your ammo, but I've also heard that if you have small hands (like me) the Gen 4 is the way to go.

@bmylesk there are plenty of people posting videos that are "serious" and have a lot of talk that you could watch. hickok45's videos might be cheesy but I think they are funny. jokes and guns are my 2 favorite things and hickok provides them both everytime.
@bmylesk "cheesy" in the modern vernacular = unaffected, unselfconscious, down-to-earth and/or 'real'. Qualities that are part of the reason we like Hickock's vids. Try not to be so cynical it cuts down on your enjoyment of life :P

Question for hickok, or anyone else who has some knowledge. I am considering getting a Glock 23 and I was wondering if you have any thoughts on Gen 4 vs Gen 3. I've heard that the new mag release on the Gen 4s makes it easy to accidentally dump your ammo, but I've also heard that if you have small hands (like me) the Gen 4 is the way to go.

@bmylesk there are plenty of people posting videos that are "serious" and have a lot of talk that you could watch. hickok45's videos might be cheesy but I think they are funny. jokes and guns are my 2 favorite things and hickok provides them both everytime.
