All that was, was fake skin from any old halloween or party store which i pressed against his cheek and left slighty hollow, and filled it with fake blood. So when the skin was torn the blood would pour.

we literally put no money into this. You can absolutely pull this off with no budget. Any props we use are just things we've found lying around.. The cop outfit is a security guard uniform from somebody our buddy knew, the gun was a pellet gun he owned. The makeup on the fishman you can recreate using the build episode. The face rip was done with a few dollars worth of halloween store makeup. Only thing we have that costs any substantial amount of money is the camera. Give it a shot man!

A layer or two of latex directly on the face, and rip it off in front of the camera.

@StewieHW @cfbigmac1 the face rip was a little patch of fake skin that you can buy at any halloween or party store. I spread a patch around his cheek and created a pocket, then filled the pocket with blood and sealed it... then just pulled it away and the blood began to flow..

All it was was fake skin from a party store in the area. I worked it around a bit to get it loose and pressed it against the actors face. Then I pulled the top part forward and created a small pocket, filling the pocket with fake blood. I then sealed it back against his face.. That was it.. I'm sorry it wasn't anything exciting.. just a quick little thing I came up with on the spot.

Well we had done work with Indy Mogul before. We did a pilot for a show called Dread Theater about a year ago, and then I (Chad) appeared in the season one finale as Silent Bob. We were then asked by Justin and Erik to guest direct this episode because they know we are into horror and comedy. So we wrote the script, shot it, edited it, and there ya have it.
