  • So she's not giving away her secrets huh? You'll have to experiment like she did. She discovered it by mistake along with trial and error so she's not going to just give you the mechanics of it. Artist are protective, secretive and selfish like that, didn't you know?

  • @filmtress I think it really sucks when artists become secretive. I think they do that because they're afraid of competition, failure, and of becoming just another artist, and they're not confident in their skills. The thing about art is that you can never rely on one thing to bring you to the top of the art world. You have to constantly be learning different techniques. I think what really sets some artists from others is that they teach their technique to help broaden the world of art.

  • @heartsdeprived - Well as artist we are looking for a our big break. What sets us apart and determines whether we get picked up by a representative for the commercial market is our uniqueness. If we divulge that part of us then we will never be selected because the market will be oversaturated. Then our artwork will look like too many other's artists out there. I've seen it happen many times in the field of intellectual property. Bottom line: Folks steal. Us it for themselves. Get rich.

  • @heartsdeprived Nothing is secretive...

  • @filmtress This is marbling, it is not a secret.

  • i have tried your technique but my oil colours don't mixx like yours..i think u mix paint thinly is it?

  • @Anchal121 Oil colours are not good for marbling. Non-oil paint should be treated with ox gall.
