  • whats Up Oz!

  • Nomen est omen: Oz Fox and the "Sin City Sinners". Proud to be a sinner? "Christan" band?? No, never. Metal is boring...

  • Love that opening riff Oz!

...runs and gets ye olde LP out....lol

    (Long Play, not Les Paul.....unfortunatley)

  • This is a great band doing a great song with the great Oz Fox. I think AA need to lighten up holy crap ... Oz just plays a song with the guys ... Sin City is a nickname for Las Vegas the bands from Las Vegas so hence the name Sin City Sinners ... If you read your bible Jesus hung out with all kinds of people from all walks of life. It blows my mind when some Christians rush to judgement over absolutely NOTHING!!

  • I have one thing to say to Christian fans here. Why are you people protesting Mr. Ronnie James Dio's funreal?????Children not available to molest this weekend? ASSHOLES!

  • Sin City Sinners is just a play on words as a catchy phrase of what we say here in Las Vegas. It doesn't mean they dwell in sin. Way to go Oz!

  • Any proclaiming Christian who say's I'm wrong for performing with this great bunch of guys has no true understanding of Christianity. Pharisees, pharisees, pharisees!!!!

  • @sirozfox

I agree people harshly and quickly rush to judgment on matters that they don't have all the facts on, but it is not fair to do the same by calling people Pharisees.

  • So when Jesus called the pharisees "Brood of vipers!" was he wrong too? Couldn't your statement accuse Jesus as well?

    Read your bible dude.

  • If the message is from the Word, then sing, preach, baptize and make disciples of them. Does the singer realize the implications of this song realizing we are in the era of the Lord Jesus? We need to be sensitive to peoples needs and keep our own faith in Jesus.Keep impressing bands with Jesus words-follow him- Oz, others will follow, if there are harsh words, anger & pursections remember you should be glad. Paul's words Rejoice in the Lord Always, Again I say Rejoice! Philippians 4:4, Mark 4

  • @sirozfox OZ I have no idea what these guys r like but if u can't see there's something wrong with calling your band "sin city sinners" and wearing sin as if it is some badge of honor than maybe your not as down with scripture as u want everyone to think you are.

It's wrong to celebrate sin. period. U of all people should know that.

How come they can't be the Sin City Saints? The name of this band suggests they celebrate sin and wallow in it.

  • Wow, AA,

Looks like you need a lesson on love. You seem to have a problem with me loving sinners. I know I don't celebrate sin. Neither do the Sin City Sinners. It's just a catchy band name. But still I know there would be no example of Christ for people like them if Christians were all like you. I suggest you establish better accountability.

  • Everyone, myself included, can always use more lessons on love but I still stand by my comments. Part of being a "soldier under command" should involve recognizing when something is wrong and instead of just going along with it.....doing something about it. If you were able to witness to these people then that's cool...but your still sitting here defending a name that gives glory to sin when Glory belongs to God.

  • Well, like I said, I do NOT celebrate sin, nor do I participate in it. And I don't believe it is wrong to perform with these guys because I know God uses me in these situations as long as I'm not in sin. It's not your calling so I do not expect you to understand. I still think you need better accountability.

  • @sirozfox Are there any chances you'll perform with Black/Death Metal bands like Deicide, Morbid Angel, or Absu. Just joking, take care.

  • @jaco1970 ok maybe I am making a little more out of it than I should. yeah all those bands u just mentioned are terrible.

  • @AngryAgain Would you object if Oz played with Black/Death Metal bands like Deicide, Morbid Angel, or Absu. I'm a "Real Soldier Under Command" who served in Somalia, Iraq, & Kuwait. God bless, take care, and I just subscribed to your channel today.

  • As Christians, we are called to be "salt and light" in a dark world. To many people, Oz is not being serious in his faith by playing with this band - however, what if God is using this opportunity for Oz to share his faith with these guys? Jesus didn't stay in the synagogue and preach, He went out and hung out with tax collectors and regular people. He ruffled some feathers with the truth that He spoke, and they killed Him for it. I have no doubt that Oz would witness well for the King!

  • @winfieldguy yes that's cool if he was able to reach them in some way. I still object to the name of the band.

  • Lighten up, people. If ANYONE should have a problem with who he's playing with, it should be Oz. The Sinners are great guys. The name is JUST A NAME. GET OVER IT.

If OZ was playing with Slayer, Marilyn Manson.. ok, get upset. But obviously Oz has no problem. They sounded great that night!

Oz, can't wait to see you at Santa Fe Station w/ Stryper & back IN VEGAS playing with Playground.

  • I don't think Oz should be appearing with a band called Sin City Sinners..obviously by the name of the band, they are glorifying sin....this makes no sense to me at all as to why Oz Fox would lend his talents to this nonsense.

  • Well according to the Bible, we're all sinners, right? These guys just happen to be based outta Vegas.

To address your attitude, I don't think Oz's calling was ever meant to preach exclusively to the choir.

If a secular band wants to perform Soldiers Under Command with Oz to a predominantly secular crowd.... how is that not a good thing?

  • My objection to it is this -- it seems as if this band is glorifying sin, they are proudly calling themselves Sin City Sinners and their basically mocking God, a christian or a jew or a muslim generally knows they are a sinner and they need to repent, the very name of this band is more like "it's cool to be a sinner" The band's name suggests that they like rolling around in the mud and Oz being there might turn someone around but it also looks like he's saying this sin worship is ok

  • So by your logic, anyone who resides in, patronizes, or does business in Las Vegas and proudly refers to it as Sin City glorifies sin. Are you part of that radical minority who impute Stryper as de facto satanists in drag? Or do you believe Oz Fox glorified sin for naming his post-Stryper band Sin Dizzy?

The moniker Sin City Sinners is evidently innuendo or casual remark to where they're from.

They're playing a Stryper song here, not Deicide. No need to be such an alarmist.

  • @AngryAgain Your attitude twards the musicians in that band, of whom you do not know. Is a slap in the face. You my friend need not judge, less be judged. I am affraid that your attitude or way of thinking being displayed on this thread may be the reason some reject going to church.Again, listen to Oz and learn to love not judge and hate.

    Peace out!

  • Soldiers Under Command! You Rock! ^^ JESUS RLZ!!!!! ^^

  • great song... good vocals...

  • very cool! i think this is the first time i see you in a stryper shirt Oz. recently anyways.. Congrats on your marriage,, tis coming quickly!
