The best part of this ride is the feeling of almost falling out, went on it on fright night last year when i was over, no one warned me to hold on tight, produced a great photo of me and my brother though, haha :D

This ride pretty much meets the definition of the perfect, solid wooden roller coaster. Nice sudden drops, its rickety as hell, feels like your going to fall out, and because its over 50 years old now, its just gotten better.

Ridden this thing at least over 25 times now, starting when I was 8 years old.

i went on that coaster 2 times yesterday. i sat on the 4th seat and i had to sit by myself all 2 times. it was intense, especialy at some of the turns. it just pushed me all the way to the left.

you cannot fall off this ride, i always buy a playland season pass, yes it does FEEL like your going to fall out but you cant, i tried to get out of the thing wile sitting in the station, but once the bar is down you cant get out.

idk why but the universal srudios jurassic park ride has a 85ft. drop and the wooden coaster has a 75ft. drop but i still think the wooden one is alot higher!

I personally think that they should probably shut down this rollarcoaster because it is more than 50 years old and sooner or later there going to be some accident :s and THEN you will litterally fall out of your seat!! Even though I know its traditional and everyone likes it but STILL.

i have ridin this coaster at least 200 times, and everytime it feels like you are going to get thrown out,but it is possible to go the whole ride with your hands in the air as i have done that many times, front and back are two different rides as well, my opinion is it is still one of the best out there

My friend is taking me on that ride this summer and well I have never been on a roller coaster in fact I almost never go on a scary ride I swear once I went on a thing that that made the feeling of a roller coaster I swear I felt like it was going to break just going up and I jump out wile it was still going! My friend is going to kill me but she won't take no for an answer! ( She's never been on a roller coaster either )

Ok when I first saw that thing Im like I dont wanna wait in line it looks boring. But my friend dragged me into it, and we sat in the front. So as it was starting I was sitting there with my ams crossed, then when we were half way up the first hill, I was like this is pretty high, then I remembered that after this there was nothing holding it down, so I put my hands on the bar. Then when I looked over the edge I was freaking out, and doing so 4 the rest of the ride. It is now my fave ride there.

I live 20 minutes from this park... tell you one thing... this coaster is know to have problems on it... i've ridden alot of wooden coaster, nothing compares to this one though... it cracks and makes so many noise that you have shit in your shoes at the very end of the ride...

Tell me about it! I couldn't film it, I was too busy hanging on for dear life. Gave the camera to hubby, he had his hands in the air all 8 times anyway.  How he doesn't fall out is beyond me.

One suggestion. If your camera has a wrist strap, use it. I filmed the ride earlier but my camera wasn't as good quality and has no audio.
