Everyone develops their own method and rude mood is one of the songs Stevie actually looked like he was thinking about what he was doing instead of just jamming.

He still has a long way to go, and what helped SRV and all the others get so far was their humble attitude and willingness to realize they were never finished practicing. There's always more to learn, and you can always stretch yourself further.

I agree, it's obvious that he is a little new to this, and will build on this foundation. Once he gets more comfortable and MORE practice, he will learn to put some more FEEL into it. Granted he feels impressed with himself that he musters enough technique to run through the motions of the song and wants to show it off, I would've probably waited until I felt extremely confident about my playing to upload it and show it off. Unfortunately there is no filter on Youtube for quality.
