PC GAMING is dieing, NOT PC's. The problem is the general market hates installing things (takes work and time people don't like wasting time or doing work). 2. Hacking (cheating) is much simpler with a PC. 3 PC's generally cost more if you don't have knowledge of how to custom your own computer (which most people don't), and lastly it does not have a specific service which soul purpose is to have a game platform. I could go on but hopefully your tiny mind can comprehend what I said.
PC gaming isn't dying. Lots of anti-cheat clients are available that are very good at keeping cheaters out. VAC is very good at it. And as for customizing a computer? You don't have to be a genius to do it. Many computers are already commercially available with gaming equipment in it. Plenty of forums will even tell you how to customize your computer if you'd just ask. PC gaming isn't dying, it's only just beginning.

Why does this game just not look like its worth the effort when I can play Far Cry 2 on PS3. Yes some graphics are not as polished as this game and the visual draw difference may be much better in this but its just a gimmick. I'm a PS3 fan myself, got nothing against consoles. But you need to get your facts straight when saying PC's are outdated etc, Firstly there's a wider range of games available on a PC then a PS3 or a XBOX.
Secondly, yes, ok, its costly to have a high end gaming computer, but it does its job.
While PS take time to develop there PS4, Hardware for PC's will be released far faster then that for the PS, and people can continue to see the games develop Instead of waiting so long.
And another thing you got to take into account is the User, I find it more comfortable with a mouse and a keyboard rather then that of a Pad (mainly FPS etc).

You're paying quite a bit more for things like the Sony name, and you pay $10 more for games. I knew a guy who used to work for GearBox software and would develope for the PS3. The system is far inferior compared to even median range PC hardware. For $400 I assembled a quad core CPU, 8800 GTS 512, 4 GB of ram and a PSU. It's FAR more powerful than your PS3.

Paying more money for games? Well, thats how much they cost. Games only cost less for PC's because no one plays them anymore. There is no market for businesses for PC users because they know that PC's are not gaming machines. I am not going to go into detail on what the PS3 has and what it can do but lets to just look at graphics alone. The PS3 outdoes PC's and the 360 in every single way. The PS3 is assembled in a complex manner which enables it to achieve much more.
The PS3 is used as a super computer over at Nasa because nothing can compare to its power. They even have a program running on it which basically mimics the behavioral mechanics of a black hole, the first time this has been achieved on any computer to give an analysis for scientists to study. I aint arsed which platform delivers this quality of power but its always Sony who pioneers the technology first. There has yet to be something that matches its power and it is yet to be understood.

Actually any model gun based on an AK kicks like a mule and the bullets are much slower than those shot from an M16/M4 carbine resulting in lower accuracy. So personally this looks more realistic than Gears of War 2.

go to a custom company called factor. They make Laptops and Pcs with rediculous power. I can get a 3 gig quad core laptop with dual 8800's and 4 gigs of the finest available ram. You can also get the new 250 gig 7500 rpm hardrive for faster reading ability. it costs less than the next best thing which is a dell laptop even though the dell is half the power. This all costs $4258 and beats most desktops.

and yes, for 800 dollars you can create a kick ass desktop that will smoke the competition. but custom building laptops is still not as easy.
Not much above medium/low settings. Yes, you can play and beat the game, but it isn't really that good looking or immersive until you have medium/high settings. And if you cant handle objects quality at least high, it does affect gameplay heavily.
I tried to play with a desktop 8600GT and it was absolute crap. Low settings all the way. That's why I decided to build my new desktop. I had upgraded my old desktop so heavily I was out of options.
They don't handle those settings very well in my experience. You'd need at least an 8800GS/HD3850 512MB to handle high comfortably. You may have a weak CPU or not enough RAM, but that is the limit of the card. I doubt you're bottlenecking it too much.

I'm a PS3 fan myself, got nothing against consoles. But you need to get your facts straight when saying PC's are outdated etc, Firstly there's a wider range of games available on a PC then a PS3 or a XBOX.
Secondly, yes, ok, its costly to have a high end gaming computer, but it does its job.
While PS take time to develop there PS4, Hardware for PC's will be released far faster then that for the PS, and people can continue to see the games develop Instead of waiting so long.

And another thing you got to take into account is the User, I find it more comfortable with a mouse and a keyboard rather then that of a Pad (mainly FPS etc).
I understand your statements and opinion, therefore there is no need for an argument.
So i will leave it at this, I like both Consoles and PC's. Technology will continue to advance, Enjoy your gaming on whichever platform you find comfortable.

I like games and I like certain systems but it does annoy me when you get these random pricks making out everything is amazing on PC's these days. I have yet to see anything worthwhile on PC.
PC's are workstations. PS3 is a gaming machine. End of!

Not really. PC's started out as workstation then evolved to do so much more. PS3's are being made so you can use them for work and will be sent out like that soon. the world is changing (And by the way i agree with the PC pricks saying PC's are gods shitter) and so is our inventions. You're paying quite a bit more for things like the Sony name, and you pay $10 more for games. I knew a guy who used to work for GearBox software and would develope for the PS3. The system is far inferior compared to even median range PC hardware. For $400 I assembled a quad core CPU, 8800 GTS 512, 4 GB of ram and a PSU. It's FAR more powerful than your PS3.
Also, stop insulting people. You look like a douche bag. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them an idiot.

Paying more money for games? Well, thats how much they cost. Games only cost less for PC's because no one plays them anymore. There is no market for businesses for PC users because they know that PC's are not gaming machines. I am not going to go into detail on what the PS3 has and what it can do but lets to just look at graphics alone. The PS3 outdoes PC's and the 360 in every single way. The PS3 is assembled in a complex manner which enables it to achieve much more.

The PS3 is used as a super computer over at Nasa because nothing can compare to its power. They even have a program running on it which basically mimics the behavioral mechanics of a black hole, the first time this has been achieved on any computer to give an analysis for scientists to study. I aint arsed which platform delivers this quality of power but its always Sony who pioneers the technology first. There has yet to be something that matches its power and it is yet to be understood.

Just because I have the money to buy things like top end PC's and parts does not mean I should do it. Why? Its a waste of time and money, there is nothing on offer for Pc's nor is there anything that makes it better. You said it yourself "instead of super computers which take up enormous rooms." apparently the ps3 uses the rsx which is a nvidia 7850 console port and 256 mb of ddr ram. so u cant argue that ps3 is better than a pc with anything better than a, lets say 8800gts. and cpus are a huge thing cuz the i7 will totally out performs the ps3's chip. anyways ps3 is great for the value but it isnt great for the performance.

crysis is such a good game but i nearly killed myself after i installed it and saw how bad my pc was... my graphic card is a invidia gf7950gt 512 mb gddr3 and it deacelerate when it reaches 130 celcius....it got up on 110 :(... i cant find the error cause my pc have all it requires...can it be that i dont have vista?

I love crysis I'm in "Assault" but crytec made far cry & they look similar but with just few differences e.g. crysis: suit aliens. farcry:preditor mode(2007 version) watch mode(2008 only) but all have same thing they all are stuck in a freckin large Island & the place is crowded with angry Vietnamese or Chinese what ever they are. Can't crytec make any game that is not related to a freckin Island & Vietnamese? :)

Actually any model gun based on an AK kicks like a mule and the bullets are much slower than those shot from an M16/M4 carbine resulting in lower accuracy. So personally this looks more realistic than Gears of War 2.

I'm sorry but you've either got a crap mouse or you are very bad at shooters. I have no problem lining up shots and taking down the Korean soldiers. In fact, I use single fire mode exclusively with the red dot sight and I got through the game fine on Delta difficulty.

What with HDR, Dynamic Lightbeams, Advanced Water effects, amazing physics, high resolution textures, high poly models, day and night cycles, advanced ballistics, adaptive AI.
The engine is not screwed up. People just need to accept that like Oblivion and FEAR, this game is the next step forward in technology. It's supposed to scale forwards to the next gen of graphics cards.

actually m8 thats where ur right and wrong, see first u need to look at ps3 footage of farcry 2, and secondly, crysis is cumin out on ps3 with added content, a crysis 1.5 if u will, and crytek have stated they were really suprised by ps3s streaming power which will allow it to proccess the game at high quality, ok maybe not as sgood as crysis on MAXIMUM settings, but certainly very high...and farcry 2 on ps3 is on par with the pc version at very high settings aswell which will rival this game ;p

go to a custom company called factor. They make Laptops and Pcs with rediculous power. I can get a 3 gig quad core laptop with dual 8800's and 4 gigs of the finest available ram. You can also get the new 250 gig 7500 rpm hardrive for faster reading ability. it costs less than the next best thing which is a dell laptop even though the dell is half the power. This all costs $4258 and beats most desktops.

well they were talking about laptops. i was just stating that if you take the 8600mGT and you have the RAM, update the drivers and it runs beautifully, enough to play crysis. I know.
and yes, for 800 dollars you can create a kick ass desktop that will smoke the competition. but custom building laptops is still not as easy.

Not much above medium/low settings. Yes, you can play and beat the game, but it isn't really that good looking or immersive until you have medium/high settings. And if you cant handle objects quality at least high, it does affect gameplay heavily.
I tried to play with a desktop 8600GT and it was absolute crap. Low settings all the way. That's why I decided to build my new desktop. I had upgraded my old desktop so heavily I was out of options.

They don't handle those settings very well in my experience. You'd need at least an 8800GS/HD3850 512MB to handle high comfortably. You may have a weak CPU or not enough RAM, but that is the limit of the card. I doubt you're bottlenecking it too much.
